Perfect and durable for using all sorts of media. Always my first choice of sketchbook.

First time using SeaWhite Sketchbooks. Well made, with a heavy weight paper. I own sketchbooks from many different companies and SeaWhite stands out. I purchased 3 different shapes..landscape, large and small square. They work well with all media. They hold wet mediums but as it is a sketchbook don't use them as watercolor paper. Enjoy.

I find all the Seawhite sketbooks are great to work in. The covers are torugh and take quite a bit of punishement. I have been using these sketchbooks since my art college days, back in the '90s and I havee travelled three continents with them.The paper has a very slight texture and it's a soft white colour, that it is easy on the ayes when sketching outside. When fully open you get a great expanse of paper to do panoramic landscapes, but I also love them to just doodle, covering the pages with fine shapes using my favorite pens, the fine point Pilot G-Ttech-C4, they have a 0.4 point and I can get some very fine small details with them and they come in packs of 6 colours as well.Although this sketchbooks are not specificaly for watercolour, I find that they will take a dry brush with ease. I also use inks, and felt tips, with a non bleed paper under the page to protect the rest of the pages Some alcohol felt tips will mark through but I don't mind that so mush, I just use the reverse pages for collage or other mediums that can cover the possible stains. In all I think these a possibly the best sketchbooks you can buy for your money.

Purchased multiple times. I use it for merchandise display for my business. :D These are thick and sturdy, very pretty, high quality.

Great value for money. I use it for ink and wash sketches, and it is able to take a moderate amount of watercolour washes on both sides of paper. Great for fountain pen as well and does not feather. The 140x140 one is great for travelling with and I love the square size. Pages open flat so you can paint / sketch across the page if you like.
