Really nice, affordable & good looking watch band.I don't have a Rolex but I still love my watch. This Ritchie band might not be top-grain leather but I'd never know or care. I think it's a nice looking band, wide and the best one I've found in this price range. I love it and I'll buy more for my other watches. Thank you guys for a nice product.

Updated review:I ended up returning this band because after getting it wet only twice, the black leather dye was starting to wash off and fade. I used a very soft white shower towel to dry it and a lot of that black dye was transferred onto the towel.This band is very scratch prone and the leather creases very easily, directly around the buckle (not very supple leather - pretty much like thin, dry skin type of texture). So be aware - you'll have to be very careful not to scratch this band around, or else you'l ruin it very quickly.I ordered a second band of the same model and I was very shocked to see that the second band I received was not as black as the first one I reviewed here. I ended up returning them both.With that said, I just spent many days researching, purchasing and testing lots of all black; both leather and silicone watch bands here at Amazon for my Fossil Sport and Skagen Falster 2.I ended up settling with a 7 dollar 20mm black silicone quick release band and I'm much happier because it looks great on both watches.So... If you don't intend to get this black leather band wet and can live with a very delicate nature of its very thin layer of dyed leather glued on top of course leather, then by all means, go ahead and try your luck with it.Original, day one review:I'll tell you, I'm a very detailed oriented individual and not easily impressed by a lot of products out there, but in my personal opinion, this band fits and suits my wants and needs pretty much in all areas.It's pretty much exactly what I was looking for.- All black with black stitching. Check.- Black buckle (wish it was matte black though). Check.- Non narrowing band. Check.- Squared off tip. Checked.- Matches the matte black portion of my Fossil Sport's nylon case posts (where you clip the band ends into). Check.Keep in mind there will be a break-in period to get this band perfectly fitted comfortably around your wrist. At first it's a bit too harsh / stiff.I put my entire watch / band under the faucet running lukewarm water for about a minute, to hopefully soften the band a little more and, with the watch still on my wrist, I just gently patted it down with a clean towel and let it dry on my wrist. I believe it helped expedite the break-in period. It feels a little better on the skin now.There's some stitching on the inside of the band (that goes against the skin) but even if you wear it very tightly, it will not leave a mark on your skin.Can't really attest for the durability of this specific band at this time, but I would certainly recommend this band for anyone that happens to be shopping for a fine looking leather band.

First, it's a nice looking band. I just bought a beautiful new watch with a black leather band, but wanted a brown one to swap out from time to time. After I took the original black band off, and with a bit of difficulty because it wasn't Quick Release like this new one, I knew that that OLD black band was never going back on. I nearly scratched it up just trying to remove it. I just ordered the black one here instead. The Quick Release feature should have been the norm for watch bands years ago, because it makes band swapping easy.I have smaller wrists, and some have mentioned the buckle shifting to an undesirable position on the back. I didn't find that to be bothersome. The second, moveable "keeper" or loop to hold the end snug against the band kept the end from sticking out awkwardly and showing the bright reverse side of the band. An easy last step for putting on the watch.I'm sticking to Quick Release from now on.

This is a very attractive leather band which I needed to replace a worn out band. This will work well with my watch. My only concern for future purchases is the way sizing is presented. I do not happen to have on hand a device for measuring millimeters. It would be helpful if sizes in America were shown inches and fractions of inches. I had to call up an online converter so that I could order the correct size for my watch.

I like this watch band!I own a Wenger 7471X/T and the original band had worn out.This 19mm band was easy to install given the quick release feature. Removing the original band was not difficult, so if fear of attempting to remove a standard watch band has held you back on pickup up a replacement, I hope this helps alleviate that fear. The quick release feature ultimately inspired me to look into more bands so that I can change them daily as I choose.Compared to the original band, this band is a little flatter, which I prefer. I find the band equally comfortable, and it feels substantial enough that I'm not worried about it detaching or breaking during use.For reference, I have worn this watch band daily for the past three weeks. Primarily, I wear this to the office, but I've also worn this on long walks in excess of 90 degrees.UPDATE:While taking off my backpack yesterday, the watch snagged on the strap. The quick release pin bent and ripped through the tiny pit of leather where the quick release slider is. Removed two stars for the lack of durability.

I’ve been wearing this watch band for about a week and I’m impressed! The the leather is soft and seems to wear well; better than some other watch strap brands I’ve used, which were more expensive. As someone with a slimmer wrist (6.75” / 17cm), I appreciate that this strap has plenty of adjustment holes compared to many other watch bands. This ensures a proper fit for a variety of wrist sizes. The color is very nice and looks close to the image shown on the sales page.

My 2nd purchase to replace the one I bought in Jun 2022. I noticed a change in design and now it only includes a single loop (would have preferred a double). Note that colour will darken over use and time, and when wet. See photo of old and new strap side by side for comparison. I do like the colour better when it ages. I ordered 'coffee' colour.
