99.995% Pure Zinc Anode Sheet, Electrode Strip for Plating (2-Pack, 0.04" x 1" x 6")

I shaped one kind of like a U to fit inside a pure Copper water bottle; as to being in contact for purification to begin, 16 + hours.

Good product. Used in DIY project. Good quality. Would definitely purchase again when needed.

Use them for plating and they work fine. Its hard to say if the seller claim of 99.995% purity is true but they seem to work as intended.

When cleaning the cooler this year, I found significant mineral deposits AND algae. I am trying these zinc strips (grounded) to try to reduce both problems. So far, the strips are showing significant corrosion and I will see if the effect of the zinc on the algae growth makes a difference when I pull the media to clean. Hope to report on this experiment in Fall/2024.

Not sure what to say, I needed pure zinc for making an aluminum alloy. 🤷

Will buy more, work great even for an ameture with Frankenstein set up

Instead of as anode I use this zinc to make my own silver solder for emergencies or to solder copper instead of using the phosphorous solder that can break if hammered -mix zinc with silver and copper and have silver solder; one can find cool tutorial videos about this- and it works good. I wanted good quality solder so opted for this pure zinc sheets.

Very pure zinc. I use for zinc plating small parts in a home made setup.
