Xtreamer IXtreamer Media Player and Streamer + Wireless N wifi - ipad ipad2 iphone ipod

I purchased this product with a lot of excitement but I am sorry to say that I am extremely disappointed. A number of things don't work:1) It does not recognize my iPAD22) It does not play full HD .MOV files properly. The movies play in "fast forward" way.3) The network streaming function also doesn't function.4) The bundled WiFi adapter that plugs through the USB cannot be properly positioned UPWARDS with the device since the USB connector is placed upside down. The wifi adapter is also not rotatable so that the antennae can be oriented upwards.Apart from this, the user interface is absolutely shabby.I have been trying to contact their customer care for the past 2-3 weeks but have received no response. Hence I placed a request for return of this item today.

I'd give it half a star if I could!I've had the ixtreamer for about 2 years.I purchased it before my overseas move at the airport in a duty-free shop before boarding my plane.Cost me $200 US.For the last 4 months I've had nothing but issues trying use the ixtreamer to its fullest.The company (Prodigy I think), dropped ALL support, updates and drivers for the ixtreamer.'The consumer didn't like the look of the streamer'.For there own selfish unprofessional reasons they simply left us all hanging.They have the nerve to continue selling it on-line in their store with their NEW Products!.Contacting them is futile.Manuals are bear an of no help to someone very 'techie' like me.The so called 'support site' hasn't been updated since 2009.If you do try to search for anything related to the ixtreamer you get sucked into a black hole of confusion with no guidance, unless you head to their on-line store where all hands are on deck to misrepresent support and ignore pleas for assistance.There's a good reason they don't sell in N. America. No one would put up with this reprehensible company that has no intention or interest helping consumers that wasted money on their products.99% of the time I do research before I purchase any electronics.This will go down as my first burn.Hope it's my last.I suggest you run far far away and stay away from this lemon!No hopes for lemonade here.

Honestly thought this was a great buy. Got it for less than 100. Had my own usb wifi antenna and wireless repeater though. On a whole it dealt nicely with all the filetypes i could throw at it. One or 2 hiccups out of a few hundred. The fan is a bit annoying but i'll buy the passive cooler for 6 and that'l be that. Recommend it to anyone.
