This stuff animal was soft and surprisingly heavy. It can stand up on its own and feels well made. The details such as the gradation in fur color, shiny eyes and textured nose make it stand out from other stuffed animals. I got this for a guy friend who has shih tzus and dressed the plush in a custom college varsity jacket (his school mascot is not flattering). He got a kick out of it and sent multiple pictures.

He's absolutely adorable! He looks so lifelike and is also super soft and fluffy. I got him as a friend for my 12 week old Shih tzu when she comes home. The quality, detail and craftsmanship is pretty impressive for a stuffed animal, nothing like the stuffed animals when I was a child :). He looks so real that I wish he were! LOL

My wife wanted a Shih Tsu puppy. I purchased this for her. She loved it, but later wanted the real thing. After giving this to our new Shih Tzu puppy it has become his best "buddy." We play daily and it is by far his favorite toy.
