The Maca Extreme is approximately 1 third each of the yellow, red and black roots. It is about 4 times the potency of the raw regular Yellow, Red or Black Maca powders that we carry. This is because the roots are dehydrated fresh instead of being sun dried for 3-4 months. Then they are micro pulverized which prevents any loss in potency that normally occurs during the sun drying period and it also allows for a lower starch content. This powder is recommended if you regularly consume larger amounts of any of the other Macas.

Regular maca is good, but Maca Extreme packs a punch - keeps me going on stressful days, and helps me to have more pep at the gym and elsewhere A little goes a long ways, so a teaspoon for half-tablespoon is just fine, but it's hard to resist adding a bit more. Like all maca products, it's a bit tricky to get it to dissolve in a beverage form, but at a moderately warm temperature it seems to do just fine.
