Very bright, solid LED light for seedlings and small plants
A friend of mine has been using these LED plant growing lights to supplement natural light in his green house, and I decided to get one so I could expand my indoor seed starting setup. I was impressed with the quality of the packaging, everything arrived in perfect condition. I was also very happy to learn that this LED grow light comes with a selection of hardware to make hanging it quick and easy. Many other lights do not include hanging hardware, so this is definitely a benefit of this particular light. Overall the light works extremely well, and is VERY bright. I used an analog lux meter to compare the output of this to some other LEDs that I already owned and the BESTVA light has significantly more LUX, even when measured further away from the light source. The power draw is totally reasonable for how much visible light this generates, and so far my tomato starts seem to be thriving under it. The build quality feels very solid, and overall the quality of the materials inspired confidence. I am also pleased with the length of the power cord, and the fact that it is removeable, in case you want to substitute in a longer cord to reach outlets which are further away from where you choose to hang it. Price-wise I feel that this is a good value, and I only wish that maybe I had purchased the next size larger for my particular situation.

EXCELLENT GROW LIGHT, LOOK NO FURTHER!
Iโve owned this BESTVA grow light for nearly 2 months now and Iโm extremely satisfied with it so far. I actually purchased 2 of these lights at the same time, but so far Iโve only been using one, so I can only speak for the performance of this unit specifically. My plants have stayed strong, healthy, vibrant green, and compact throughout the vegetative stage. The light output is impressive for the price, and the build quality feels solid. One thing I personally found works really well is running both the VEG and BLOOM settings together during an 18/6 light cycle, even in the actual plantsโ vegetative state. In my experience, the plants responded much better compared to using VEG mode alone โ faster growth, fuller leaves, and overall healthier structure. TRUST ME โ IF YOU CAN MAKE IT TO WEEK 4 or 5, GROWTH WILL ACCELERATE AND BECOME EXPLOSIVE AFTER THAT POINT! Heat output has been manageable, coverage has been great for my setup, and overall this has been an excellent purchase. Looking forward to seeing the final yield results, but so far Iโm very impressed and would definitely recommend this light. Iโll also be posting grow updates and results on my YouTube channel, so feel free to DM me with any questions! I plan on documenting my grow progress and equipment testing on social media, and based on my experience so far, Iโd definitely be open to future collaboration opportunities with BESTVA.

Good for 1 plant or to supplement a small grow
I use a CMH light for all stages of growing in my bigger tents. I got this because it was cheap, and wanted to check it out. Just know your not getting 1000 actual watts, but about 200 watts. Look on a package of your LED lightbulbs you use in your house. It says what the LED watt is, and also what the actual watts are. That's not to say this light is worthless. Just understand how it works so you get the best from your grow - because isn't that the point? I'm using this in my 2x2 tent because it runs completely cool and is small. Plug it in and go. Uses hardly any electricity. It's nice for what I'm using it for. For a small grow, this would work just fine. If your limited on space, want an inexpensive light to start out with, or just want to grow one auto fem plant, I would just use this light. You wouldn't have to worry about heat build up in a small area. A small fan would be all you'd need. Put a bottle of ona gel in the next room to scrub odor. So it definitely has it's place. And it's convenient. Good medical plants each need at least 400 par up to 1000 par. So make sure you know what height/inches your plants need to be to be, without burning or bleaching the tops. From this manufacturer: 6" is 1901 par 12" is 958 par 18" is 595 par 24" is 447 (directly under the light) and then ranges outwards, to maximum of 4 ft, at 47 par 30" is 230 par directly under the light. Skip back up to the picture of this light and flip through until you see where it says Bestva Dual-Chip 1000W PAR value picture. That way you can get a good visual of where you'd need to put your plant in relation to this light. You want to get it as close as possible, without bleaching or burning your plants. LEDs run cool, which is what is so great about them. Just got to find that sweet spot. You can supplement this light with some CFL's for even more watts for cheap. Your gonna get the best out of this light, if you put it 6-12" above your plant. Just don't burn your plants. Happy growing!

Great lights, 1000W=300~ and 2000W=800~
The 1000W is great light to start seedlings, paired with the Vivosun heat mat. Most of the LEDs are full spectrum (white) with a strip of blue and a strip of redish for veg/bloom respectively. I would just leave both on. The light isnt 1000W equivalant. From the amount of stretch and distance I would say its closer to 300W but it works well for seedlings. Uses little electricity and generates almost no heat. You can see my tomatoes, broccoli and eggplant seedlings in the pick. The 2000W is even better and I'd say equivalent to about 800W Halogen. It doesnt generate excess heat and can be mounted fair low. The best part is you can see that the plants under the pinkish light do not stretch at all. Very tight node structures. You can see in the close up of peppers and tomatoes. It has more blue/red strips and doesnt glow white like the smaller 1000W version. Not sure the impact. Great for starting and growing plants to full cycle. I'm gonna try to grow fully indoor winter tomatoes with these lights before I mount them in an outdoor greenhouse. Keep in mind low heat generation means you might need a heat mat like me.

Love this switchable led light so far
Only been using for a couple days so canโt rate durability or quality yet. Seems pretty decent though, we will have to see how the led perform with the plants over the next couple months. I had to get an extra carabiner and rope ratchet to be able to control the angle of the light way I want to. So I guess it would have been nice if it came with that or had a better design on the hanging system. Now I wanted a cheap light just to veg my outdoor plants. This was the 3rd most powerful led grow light under $60, but the higher rated ones had a spectrum only designed for flowering/blooming. This has both and although the veg setting doesnโt seem super powerful, itโs covering all 6 of the 5 gallon pots Iโm vegging in about 2.25โ above. It produces no heat on the veg setting and a tiny amount on full power. Even in a grow tent this thing would need very minimal ventilation/cooling. Iโve been growing almost two decades and my t8 just died. I havnt done indoors in 7/8 years maybe, so I hadnโt gotten into the leds much back then. Was just running 300 watts supplemental w my hps1000s. Those were a different type of led, louder and produced a lot of heat nvm $$. These seem a lot better. I could picture running 2 of these in a small 3x3 tent w a small 4in fan set up for cooling an a temp controller. Anyone reading these reviews, bc I looked at plenty before this purchase, out of the box it gets 4.5 stars. If was slightly stronger power wise or came w better hanging system it would get the 5. But happy overall with the purchase and definitely recommend especially at the price.

Very satisfied
Havenโt grown with it yet, but so far itโs everything I expected. Would buy another one in the future.

Excellent lights and great value
I purchased two of these lights in the spring of 2025 and have used them multiple times over the past year to start seeds, including this past month. The lights are good quality and have survived multiple uses. Theyโre designed to be hung over the top of your plants and so you will either need shelving above your seedlings or some type of rig for them to hang from. That being said they are extremely effective and last year I started all of my gardening plants for my large garden using just these two lights. Iโll be buying more this year to grow even more.

Good Light, But Has Some Drawback
The grow light works and provides good brightness for my plants, but it wasnโt quite what I expected. Setup was easy, and the full-spectrum light seems to help with plant growth. However, it runs a bit warmer than I anticipated, and the coverage area feels smaller than advertised. Itโs a decent option for smaller plants or seedlings, but if youโre growing a larger setup, you may need additional lighting. Overall, itโs okay, but there are better options available for the price.

Excellent value, great light.
So far, tremendous results. Using 4 for a 10' x 7' room, should maybe run 6 of them for that area, but things are looking up! Easy on the power consumption, the girls seem to love it. Packaging was first rate, shipping to Canada was very fast. I highly recommend this seller as well as the product. One year later: I did away with my home-built 7x10 enclosure and set these up in an 8x8 tent. Now 4 of them will not cover the whole footprint, but I want space for filter, fans etc. I would suggest 6 of these for a space that size instead. Results have been very good indeed, with lush foliage and tight internodal spacing. I harvested some very large flowers, but of course proper nutrition and ventilation are the other pieces of the puzzle. Have tried a side-by-side comparison with more expensive lights, 10w LED as well as 1000W COB (200W chips), and if anything, these are superior. I will be purchasing more for separate veg tent ((keep at least 3 feet over cuttings or may burn). Hydro bill barely registers a difference running all of them, so, easy on the wallet (not sure of actual consumption per light). I have no regrets about this purchase and will be back. Customer service is first-rate as well. AAA+++

Great lights
These lights are perfect for growing plants indoors. I have 2 and I can grow a nice vegetable garden in my tent all year round.

Good value and performance, but watch out for leaf burn
This is a REALLY bright light that seems to be well made and well designed. The ratio of blue/red/UV and IR bulbs makes good sense based on the research that I've done, and my plants have done well in both vegetative and flowering stages. The 10w equivalent LEDs are super bright though, and although the light itself runs cool as ice with excellent (and quiet) ventilation fans, it will scorch your plants if you put them too close. The manual suggests 30" but I would keep young plants even further away than this and monitor them carefully. Once you sort out that one detail though, this is a great light.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I have grown with 1000 watt hps and other power drain lights before even with a room up to 19 bulbs in it. I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THIS LIGHT. Plants are loving it. They get penitraition deeper it seems, the new shoots everywhere, the flowering is incredible, right off the hip these lights made a difference. I tried 1 and then bought 2 more within the week. They do definitely replace 1000 watt as I actually had to move them as far back as a 1000 watt GPS or they were giving too much light with almost no heat. I don't have to air condition my room anymore so power bill will be a great deal less. I'm not growing cannabis at the moment just 20 different vegetable / fruit / and flowers to keep beneficial predatory insects around but I do have experience with cannabis as I am a medical prescribed and allowed to produce if I wanted to. I just choose not to because I don't want the extra risk that thieves present.
