is this durable enough to hang a badge in a leather holder?

Yes and has been holding a leather holder and badge with no problems since Dec 2018

Does the gold chain fade or tarnish, does it turn your skin green

So far it has not done that to me

So "titanium" used in the description is totally misleading? It's 316L stainless says the seller.

No, it's not misleading at all. the Titanium steel is a kind of stainless steel. This chain is both titanium steel and stainless steel. Thank you very much.
