MOFT MagSafe Wallet Stand for iPhone 13/12 Series MagSafe Compatible Phone Stand with 3 Viewing Angles, Night Black

I love this thing. The first one of these I got was nearly twice the price of this one (at the time) and made by a reputable widley known phone case/accessory brand that i won't mention by name (spigen XD) While that one was very sleek and aesthetically pleasing, that was about all that was good about it. Weak magnetic bond, didn't keep phone up well or fold well as a stand, and it fell apart at the seams in about 2 weeks. They sent a replacement which also fell apart in under a month. Gave this one a shot and have been pretty impressed at how well it's held up, still folds crisply and snaps into stand form, still hugs cards inside nice and securely, and the magnet strength to my phone is great even through a case. The magnet works so well that if i forget to take it off the phone when i get in the car and slap it on the magsafe chager mount on my dash, even the heavy phone with it's weight protruding out dangling at the end of the chain of magnets doesnt come off the wallet nor the wallet off the mount, and that's though the phone case as well. The look of it has grown on me, i don't really have any cons to report on this thing. It would be really neat if they made one of these and managed to incorporate a spot fot an airtag into it. i've been looking for something like that but being a stand, card holder, convenience of the magsafe, having an airtag slot ... i realize thats a bit of a tall order of features to cram into something low profile, that might be asking too much. ive found close but always missing a feature like stand option... i just slapped one of those adhesive airtag cases on the back of it and it hasnt been too unweildy or intrusive. I've already decided when the day comes that it's time to retire this one i will just get another one of these. Very pleased!

I really like this wallet. You need a case made for MagSafe, with its own magnets, for it to stick properly. I have an Otterbox Aneu, and I have no complaints about how strong it holds. Obviously the wallet pops off, and can pop off in your pocket as things rub around, but that’s kinda the point of magnetic accessories like this. You would have the same thing in your pocket if you just carried a minimal wallet that didn’t stick to your phone. So I think of this as my minimal wallet that holds a credit card and a drivers license and happens to be the easiest and best portable phone stand that I’ve tried. You can use it upright like in the pictures, or quickly spin it around so your phone is at a smaller angle to the table, which is how I like to read when sitting at a table. Before upgrading to an iPhone 12, I used to use a wallet case that carried a credit card and my license, which is generally all I need when I run to the store. I found that having a tap-able credit card attached to my phone didn’t let me use my phone with Apple Pay. This was annoying because the cash back from the Apple Card beat my Amazon card if I used Apple Pay at a register, but not if I had to swipe a card, so I wanted to carry my physical Amazon card to choose the best between the two. But once my Amazon card went tap-able this got difficult. First world problems I know but I really didn’t like carrying a second, unattached, wallet just to have access to my Amazon card. The magnetic wallets solve this problem beautifully, as I can quickly pop off the wallet to use Apple Pay, and still carry my tap-able Amazon card. So this wallet checks all the boxes for me. It is minimal, it easily holds my two most important cards, it is a great stand, and it doesn’t get in the way of using Apple Pay.

I really enjoyed using this! I’ve been able to fit 3 cards and a drivers license at once and is super convenient. It stays on pretty strong to my iphone12 and only ever sometimes slides off when I put in my pocket and it gets caught on the edge. The drop in one star is because after 5 months of use, the bottom of the stand has come off. It seems this is just glued on to the case and not sewn on which makes it the weakest part of the whole assembly and rendered the stand useless. Was still functional as a wallet but the stand is the reason why I got this and not a plan Magwallet. My 2.5yo was the one who yanked it off but not sure if it was loose already. Still, the design team should re-evaluate this part. I contacted MoFT and they were very quick to respond and send me a new one. Had to pay a small shipping fee. Here’s hoping the new one will last much longer!

There are several points to this thing that make it really great. - Material looks good and holds up to damage - It’s magnetic so you can add it or remove it when needed, this is a huge point, my friends often glue those tabs to the back of their phones then they can never put it in their pocket again and it becomes awkward. - Folds down flat; adds about an 1/8 in to the thickness of phone when closed, I have a 13 pro max so it almost comes flush to the cameras they decided need to jut out of the back. So this doesn’t get in the way much. Even when it does, I can just pull it off and put it in my pocket until I need it. - The stand holds up; I’ve been using it for about a year now, and the stand has just a little play when setting it down, but does not affect it’s ability to prop up the phone. - Holds the phone up; I’ve got the bigger size iphone and have had no problem getting it to stand either vertically or horizontally. You can also swing the thing 90 degrees and it feels like your phone becomes a little mini-monitor. - Magnet holds; I have not once had an issue where the magnet detached unwanted from the phone. I set it on hand rails and ledges without fear. Bonus point: There is a little pocket in the back I though I wasn’t going to use, but turns out to be perfect for holding a ticket or card. If I’m going somewhere, I put the ticket or card in this pocket and I can pull this thing out of my pocket with the phone or by itself if I need to, and there you go, quick access to your card/ticket. The only complaint I can think of is that sometimes it doesn’t snap onto the back perfectly straight and that can cause instability when it’s propping the phone up vertically, the phone will still stand up, but can feel unstable. It takes half a second to re-adjust and only happens every so often, so it doesn’t really affect me.

I am a big fan of wallets attached to phones and an even bigger fan if a stand is built in! The Moft case is worth a 3/5 stars for a couple reasons. Starting with the pros, the stand is actually great! The cuts they made allow for your phone to be angled correctly without tipping over which is something I Havn’t seen in other cases that don’t make angled cuts. Another pro is that your cards will not fall out of the wallet , and this review is about two weeks into usage. So things may change. I have out three cards into the wallet so far. Cons: if you fit three cards into the wallet, expect a struggle to take them out. They are so snug and you need to flip the stand out to reach for more of the card. The magnet does not hold up too well in motion. I have noted that compared to other wallets I tried, this magnet is on the weaker side. If you take your cards out, the wallet will come off the phone. Summary: all in all, the features are what MOft has stated! The phone holds cards and has a stand and is magnetic! Those are the magic words. However, function is cut out for form in my opinion when it comes to the wallet portion and the magnetic strength.

I liked the concept of the slim wallet, mag safe application, and incorporated stand function. Purchased and have been using a little over a year. Served me well as a wallet that didn't require me to carry an extra item when leaving the house. Held 2 credit cards, a drivers license and few folded currency bills. Magnet that attaches to the case to my phone is not strong enough. A case in point, dropped my phone while on an airplane and the wallet popped off. Didn't realize until I was off the plane. Luckily, was able to retrieve it as the flight crew found it for me. I dropped it while seated in my seat so not that far off the floor. For every day use, it hasn't fallen off but I'd want it to hold on in situations like a drop to keep me from losing it. The stand rates a fair as far as stability, especially when in the portrait mode. I use it for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, so maybe on smaller lighter phones there would less wobble. The major downside is the flap that serves as the stand when unfolded became unglued from the body of the wallet. Did not over stress the wallet by adding more items than I always carry in it as described above. So durability isn't great as I would expect this premium item to wear much better, especially at a major stress point. Contacted MOFT customer service by email. They responded back within 24 hours and advised me the warranty expired after 6 months, hence I was not covered. Not sure if they will do anything else for me, waiting to hear back. This flap issue is a common defect in other reviews, so buyer beware. UPDATE 12/07/23 - customer service advises I’m out of luck and offered me 20% off a future purchase. Now would I want to buy another product that they won’t stand behind if something were to be found defective. Stay away!

Excellent MagSafe wallet. Before this I kept trying to jerry rig some stand solution in combo with the Apple wallet. This is perfect. It works both in portrait and landscape and is very stable. The magnet is comparable in firmness to the Apple one. It comfortably holds 3 cards and a $20. It can fit a fourth card if you don’t mind a little tighter squeeze. The only minor thing I don’t love is that the edges of the leather are not quite as smooth as apple’s version. Highly recommend. Update: I noticed the other review said it was falling off. I’ve used the Apple version for over a month before this. They both have the same adhesion. Perhaps the issue for the other reviewer is that a magnet is not the same as a snapon type wallet. If you plan to keep the phone in a belt clip (I do sometimes) then you do need to mindful if you are bumping into things. It is possible to knock it off. I had this happen once in Home Depot with the Apple version and had a 2 minute scare. That said, I still use it in the belt clip without much concern. Normal activity will not dislodge it.

After 5 months of use the “leather” is pealing off. It’s a nice wallet just surprised how little it lasted.

This is really a great little gadget! I’ve downgraded to just one card and it even fits some cash! The strand function is great. The magnets are not mega strong but fine, I dont think any of the MagSafe products are...!
