If you're wondering what the hell collagen is, why you should care about it, and if you should spend your hard-earned cash on it, here's the deal: Simply put, collagen is a protein that forms the connective tissue all over our bodies. It is found in skin, nails, bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons. Collagen is primarily made up of amino acids and makes up about 70-80% of the dry weight of your skin. I'm no scientist, but I know when something makes me feel better and is exerting a positive influence on my body. Once I started using collagen, that was it. I knew consuming this was going to be a regular and permanent part of my daily regimen. First thing every morning, I put two heaping tablespoons in a big glass of cold water. It dissolves nicely, has no flavor, and makes me feel better. I have this with my morning meds and supplements. I may be going off topic here, but it's a great idea to start your day with a big glass of water: It kickstarts all your vital organs and keeps you hydrated. I cannot stress the importance of staying hydrated enough. Having Anthony's collagen in my morning water is like killing two birds with one stone. Clean taste, mixes well, decent price for the quantity and quality.

I have ordered this Anthony's organic collagen 20 times since March of 2023. Obviously I like it, or I would not keep reordering. I mix it in my freshly brewed K-cup coffee with hot milk. I use a scoop for approximately 11 grams of the powder, and slowly add it to my hot coffee, stirring as I add the powder. My taste buds want my 'perfect' cup of coffee...so I'm fussy about the taste. I detect absolutely NO taste from the Collagen. While it is difficult to prove the Collagen is helping with joints, nails, hair, etc....my hair is in great condition, not losing any (and I'm almost 83)...and my nails are pretty strong. *As for things that might contribute to my health or damage health...I do not have gel or acrylic nails and seldom polish my nails. My hair is a natural silver/gray...no color, no permanents, no hot irons, etc. and I don't pop pain killers or 'drugs' and drink very little alcohol.. but I do use a blow dryer. I do believe Anthony's collagen is a good product that has no side effects I can detect, and that it is likely helping. Hope this helps those people with questions. I am reordering Anthony's now for the 21st time.
