Good quality for the price.
I appreciate the extra length of this rod case. It easily holds 7 ft rods when separated into 2 pieces.

Works Great!
Took my salt water rods down to SC for a road trip and these was the best way to store them. Kept everything safe and secure while it was easy to store in the car.

Can fit a surf rod and large reel.
I wanted a carry case for my 2 piece surf rod and bait feeder reel and took a chance on this. (If you read some of the other reviews they question the size.) Rod - 8ft medium/heavy Berkley Big Game Reel - Okuma Avenger ABF 8000 Now I am only wanting to carry one rod and real, not 2. But seems to fit just fine with reel installed on the rod. The first rod eye is right at the limit of the bag, buts can still zip up without issues. Plenty of room for the reel. The butt of the rod is a little tight into the bag and does not quite push all the way down, but the rod still fits fine. Will see how it holds up over time but a good start so far and happy with the quality of the bag, not super padded but was not looking for that.

Held 3 rods and TSA approved
This bag is really nice! We actually fit 3 fishing rods and reels in this bag, easily. We flew with it and TSA had no issues with us keeping it in the seat with us as long as we had a window seat. Nice carry strap, lightweight and enough padding.
