Love the tree when lit up don’t like the price point very steep. I would buy again but a lot of money for average family

The photos of this tree looked really good in the listing, but then I started reading some of the negative reviews. Things like the tree is too short, the lights are too bright, the leaves are messed up, etc., had me a little worried about the quality of the tree. I decided to take a chance and I'm glad that I did. I will say that it took a little bit of work to get it looking beautiful, but I really like it now. It was very easy to set up and mine is 6 ft tall if you count to the top of the highest leaf. The biggest problem was the brightness of the LEDs. I thought I could live with it, but it turns out they are just too bright and very annoying and distracting. After thinking about it a bit I decided the solution was to mute the LEDs with some paint. I have a tube of acrylic paint color "raw umber," that I used to paint the ends of the LEDs. This had two effects. One is that it changed the color of the LEDs from white to the exact orange color of the leaves. The second is that it reduce the intensity of the LEDs so they have now a warm glowing effect rather than being a bright light shining in your eyes. There were a few bright spots that I had to touch up after a week but after that no more maintenance is required and my tree is beautiful. Make sure that you slide the leaves on the LEDs so the LED is flush or slightly recessed or the painting will be very hard.I've included a couple of after photos. The close-up of the painted LED isn't great since it looks different to the eye, but it's the best I could get in a photo.Also, a note to the manufacturer, instead of the leaves being a ring around the LED, if you would make it a cap, that would have the same effect as my paint fix, look really good, and make your product a lot better.Yes, it's not a perfect tree. Yes there is tape wrapped around the upper half and the branches. But you can only really see these things if you're up close. I should probably take a star off for the fixes that I had to do to the lights, but after the fix I'm happy enough that I give it 5 stars.

I wanted to add some color and lights to my interior autumn decor. After looking at several lighted maple trees on Amazon, I decided on this six-foot-tall tree basically due to its positive reviews. I want to add my high recommendation too! The tree arrives compact and well packaged in its own box. Some assembly is necessary but not difficult. The stems take a bit of time to separate and create the tree shape, but a little patience is all that is needed. The beautiful autumn-colored silk leaves are attached in pairs and are not permanently fixed so they can slip off, but they are easy to put back on the branch stems. A dot of glue would secure them if needed. There is a package of extra leaves which is really nice to have...can use to add to other autumn decor like a decorated tiered tray. The tree comes with metal stakes to secure in the ground if using outside. I am using mine only indoors so I will store the stakes. I wanted an electric plug-in style tree which this one is. It comes with a very long thin cord so no problem getting it to a plug. The little lights produce a lovely glow in the evening...just the right amount of ambient light. I am very happy with this tree and very satisfied with my purchase of it. Thank You!

I hosted Thanksgiving and used this tree to decorate a corner. The light was vibrate and made all my decorations put together. I can't seem to put it away and it's already January! it lights up beautifully at night when we're watching movies.
