This is my second one! Love it!
This little chopper is perfect for my needs. I like to chop a large red onion to store in a tight glass container in my fridge so I don't have to do it every day when I make my salad. And I do NOT want minced onion because it gets mushy and doesn't store well for more than a day. This chopper chops it small enough for anything I use it for and the onions last over a week in the fridge. I'd still be using the first one I bought, but I messed up the plastic gasket that does such a great job of cleaning the grid area. Cleaning is simple - all pieces go right in the dishwasher (bottom rack, too!) I don't need a chopper with a ton of accessories that I have no room to store - this one does exactly what I need! Love it!!

Works Well & Quick
The media could not be loaded. The OXO Vegetable Chopper is a great kitchen tool for quick and efficient meal prep. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and saves so much time when dicing veggies. However, for the best results, I recommend cutting vegetables into thinner pieces first to avoid jamming or uneven cuts. Overall, it’s a handy gadget that makes chopping quicker to make dinner faster!

IMO a little big for onion chunks. But... There are Hacks!! EDIT!
Works Well! VERY SHARP!! For me the onion cubes were a bit large but NOT a disqualifier. I found the perfect use is for diced potatoes!! Slice your potato as thick as the squares of the cutter and they some out perfect!!Works well with apple slices too!!Pro-Tip: Slice an onion/potato/green pepper as thick as the squares place your hand over the open end when done chopping and shake vigorously! Then dump into skillet to fry!I have to look and see if OXO has different size cutters so I don't need to buy a whole new setup...My only issue w/ this chopper is a bit of difficulty separating the parts for cleaning. Especially with wet hands. It's hard to pull them apart. Pressing that little tab ain't so easy. The grid cleaner insert is a nice touch though. This is a real value for the money Hands Down.--EDIT:Mine broke. A blade separated. Put in for a return and had another one literally the next day. I think I just had a tough onion. Poop happens. One last issue. The cover won't stay upright/open in use. No big issue... Just wanted to mention it. I still give it 5 *'s...

OXO Fail
I watch American Test Kitchen and most times their product review panel chooses the OXO brand. I have several OXO pieces in my kitchen artillery so I felt confident adding this one. I have used it twice and although it did the job, its probably easier to just get a good knife and make your cubes. I used it to cut cooked potato for potato salad and pineapple and melon for fruit salad. I had to cut the food pieces into slabs to fit in the chopper before bringing the handle down. It cut fine. But I wanted it to chop onion and tomato. The dice is too large for onions and the blades not sharp enough for tomato. Its not easy to clean but I did figure out that its easier to rinse off if you close the handle piece, rinse, then remove the silicone piece and rinse again. Sorry OXO, I'm not a fan of this product and do not recommend.

not pleased
After two times using on onions, blades are dull, did not work very well in any event. I am used to thinking of Oxo as best quality, but this product is not. I have no idea how to sharpen this blade set up either, so now not usable anymore.
