What I loved about this book that each recipe has its own image, which is really important to me with a cookery book. I always look at the picture when trying to decide what to make and if I make it I know what it is supposed to look like. The only downside is that I couldn't find a recipe for the frosting. Minor niggle.

Bought this as a gift and was so happy with it when it arrived that I might buy one to keep. The book is smaller than I was expecting and is printed with a smaller sized font, but it’s filled with so many great recipes! The best part is there are photos for every recipe, which I absolutely love. I don’t like making recipes without seeing a picture first because I like to know what to expect. I would definitely recommend this book, and I think it makes a great gift for someone who loves to bake.

I liked some of the recipes but didn’t like the fact some of the ingredients were for the US market. I spent ages switching oven temperatures to the UK figures and who uses butter by the stick in the UK. I now have a sticker in the front of the book with things I have transferred to UK values.
