Saves me TONS of money!! Works great and easy to use. Screw onto large tank before attaching 1lb tank. Turn upside down and it fills the small tank right up. I fill my big tanks at Costco so this is going to save me lots of money.

Refill your one pound propane bottle (at your own risk) with your 5 gallon bottle. Just put your one pound bottle in the freezer for 15-30 minutes then attach to 5 gallon bottle open valve and turn upside down. May have to repeat process to get a completely full 1 pound bottle. It will take less than a dollar of propane vs 5-7 dollars to buy in the store, in Washington state

Looks like a nice product to have if one is using the small propane bottles for camping. Before buying I viewed a video of someone demonstrating the device and offering the words of caution. This device comes with no instructions or warnings. Be very careful. Arrived onetime and in good order. Appears that it will fit fine on both the larger tank and the small tank. I like that it's metal and not plastic. THis should provide a long safe life for the item.

Does exactly what I expected. While the 1 pound refill tank only fills to about 40-50%, it still is a better option than purchasing small tanks over and over again for an exorbitant price, No instructions included so I suggest watching a YouTube video to make sure you are doing things right. Please fill tanks outside, remember you are transferring a flammable gas. Do the safe thing.

This thing WORKS. It is simple. I can ask no more. MY experience says: Read the Instructions. It only works marginally at below 60-65 degrees. You will only get a partially full bottle, at best. At 65-75, put the larger bottle in the sun for an hour. If the air is warmer than 75, you might not need or want to do that .I can't say more because it is January, but I'm thinking that should work out. Be sure to freeze the smaller bottle for an hour or more. This is important for getting the best results. I tried it sooner and got a half filled bottle. A second bottle was in the freezer for two hours and it filled 100% of factory weight from an almost empty 20 lb tank. The temperature difference matters. Do be careful uncoupling. MAKE CERTAIN YOUR MAIN TANK IS SHUT OFF BEFORE DOING SO. There may be some residue propane in the fitting. If you have never experienced it, pressurized propane HURTS like fire. You will remember it. Wear gloves. It does what it is meant to do very well and it seems indestructible. My kind of tool.
