Nylabone Advanced Oral Care Liquid Breath Freshener, 16-Ounce

I was skeptical because of some of the other reviews. At first my dog sniffed it a bit and was pretty hesitant. Eventually she drank some and loved it! We put it in all of her water now! Its good because it kills bacteria, which is good for dogs who have raw meat diets! Any dog would benefit from this and some really enjoy the taste!

Definitely freshens up my dog's breath. However, it smells strongly of mint and doesn't disguise well in the water, so my dog often avoids his water bowl if I've added some of this into his water.

Edit: my cat is turning 7 months old this week and he has just finished antibiotics for an oral infection. His mouth was fine 4 weeks prior, just standard teething but healthy gums and white teeth. My vet has said to stop using this product as maybe my cat is allergic to it..? I am not at all impressed and have been wordied it is stomatitis which may require all teeth pulled as he is only a kitten and has been vaccinated against core viruses, feline Chlamydia, and FeLV after he tested negative for FeLV, he is indoor only cat and has had no exposure to another cat since I was worried about him not having all vaccines and he is my oy furbaby. He eats commercial raw with species appropriate supplements. I am really not impressed with this product at all. Even if it is juvenile stomatitis this should have helped reduce inflammation by reducing formation of plaque. Much too obvious for my kitten... First time using it he drank some his water, but fights drinking if it's added ever since, even if just a drop or two is used in his fairly large water dish (maybe 1/16th of a teaspoon in approx 2.5-3 cups). Might try diluting and using with a brush or as a spray to help with de talk care since I have a huge bottle of it left.
