Colgate Hydris Dry Mouth Mouthwash, 16.9 Ounce, 2 Pack

I used to be able to find Hydris Dry Mouthwash in the grocery stores but haven't been able to for the past year. I take medication that causes my dry mouth and Hydris is the only dry mouthwash that works for me. When using before bedtime it doesn't last all night, but I notice if I wake up in the middle of the night, I'm not nearly as dry as with other dry mouthwashes. The taste is a little strong and minty but it doesn't irritate my mouth.

I have dry mouth. I much prefer Colgate Hydris to Biotene products. It’s too bad the product wasn’t advertised better. I can’t find it at an store anymore.

Recommended. Superior to Biotene. I wrote that headline to get your attention. I've dealt with dry mouth for several years now, after radiation treatment. Over that time, I've used a lot of products. At night, I use Xylimelts to get a few hours of sleep before dry mouth wakes me up. Biotene gel is good and helps. For mouthwash, Biotene mouthwash is perfectly fine but I have discovered that Hydris does a better job of moistening and lubricating and it is my go to mouthwash and rinse throughout the day. And Biotene burns just a teensy bit, not that that is a real issue. It has become harder to find Hydris locally so I am grateful that it is readily available on Amazon. Recommended.

If you need this for medical reasons - it's pretty good stuff,pleasant, and all that.I guess i didn't really need it for more than a couple days though, and while I didit's effects were short lived.Just a small comment:The bottle design is such that if you use the lid to drink from, as intended, it then will drip all over your bottle /counter when you rinse and invert it to put i back on.
