Do these paints have an Odor?

Not very much, they are water-base, not like typical acrylic pigments. My students use them in the classroom and there is no odor in the room.

Are these metal or plastic tubes?

Pretty sure they were plastic. I ended up sending mine back because one exploded so I can’t double check. Great quality acryla gouache though. I’m guessing it was a freak shipping accident.

Each tube in the set of five is a bit over 3 1/2 inches long including the cap. A little over an inch wide at the crimped bottom end. This paint goes far so the size of the tubes is adequate unless you are painting something huge. I usually work 9"x12" or smaller.

Do they re-wet? Do they allow reworking after they dry?

I have not tried reworking them. Since they are the acrylic variety I would not think so, but I did not attempt re-wetting the amount left.

Der Hype im Internet ist begründet

Meine Tochter und ich haben uns das Set mit den Grundfarben geholt, weil wir unentschlossen waren, ob die größeren Sets ihr Geld wert sind. Im Grunde sind es matte Acrylfarben, die gefühlt besser mit Wasser verdünnt werden können. Die Farbe bleibt auch etwas verdünnt sehr kräftig, da muss man bei vielen "normalen" Acrylfarben etwas vorsichtiger sein. Unverdünnt sind sie gaaaanz leicht transparent. Wenn sie komplett decken sollen braucht man wohl zwei Fabrschichten (wir hatten den Bedarf nicht). Sie trocknen sehr schnell. Ich kann nur raten, sich für sie Arbeit mit den Farben eine Nasspalette zuzulegen. Mixed Media haben wir mit den Farben nicht probiert.
