The Art of ShavingMolding Clay Hair Styling, 57 Gm

As almost any and all of Art of Shaving it is a really great product. Comes with the price but worth it. No comparison to cheap alternatives but if you demand absolute perfection you would expect a just a little better smell for such a high end product.

Not easy to wash out

This molding clay works very well. It does the job of keeping my hair in place despite of my active lifestyle. It isn't a super holding clay but has enough hold on my hair without being too rigid or shiny looking. A small dab goes a long way. It is soft and pliable, and easy to apply to damp hair. I like that it has a matte finish and helps keep my hair in place with a natural look.The only drawback, nevertheless a minor one, is that it has a very mild, funny scent that I'm not really a fan of. I really have to sniff it in order to notice it though. Fortunately, once it is applied and styled into the hair, the smell doesn't linger but dissipates fairly quickly.Overall, I really like this molding clay. It has a good hold and leaves my hair with a natural, matte finish. The 2 oz. tub of it will last for a long time since you only need a very small dab for each styling. If the smell could be a little more pleasant, it would have been a five-star product for me. Anyhow, it gets the job done nicely.

My husband typically uses another molding clay for his hair. This was the first time he has tried the The Art of Shaving molding clay brand. He is a huge fan of their brand in general. So far, each product has been amazing. He uses molding clay to hold his hair in place because he takes a hat on and off all day. A little goes a long way. This is much like standard hair clay- slightly creamy consistency and firm. He prefers clay over other hair products because of the thickening properties. Unfortunately, his hair has thinned a bit with age. Clay, as compared to other products has a tendency to draw dirt and impurities from the hair without drying the hair of its natural oils. Ultimately, it is rich in minerals and nutrients that are naturally healing and stimulating of the hair shaft and scalp, which makes it good for men with sensitive skin and scalp and promotes hair growth. It conditions and moisturizes the hair to control and maintain frizzy hair, particularly for men with curly or hair that tends to frizz. Overall, this is a great product from a brand he loves.
