Good quality and value. I used it with 2 x 2's (1.5x1.5) and it worked great. Good tool to have for wood projects.

I used the jig to assemble a table-top made with 1X6 pine boards. My first attempt with pocket screws. But easy to use, and the panel worked out great. Since the boards were glued together, I just used one screw for every 8-inches of joint. When the screws were tightened to close any gaps in the joints, there was slight rotation of the boards, to leave proud edges. This was taken care of in the assembly by my friendly, local lumber mill, who planed off around 1/32-inch of material for a seamless-looking panel. Terrific value for a well-done job.

I used for building country dining table. Instructions were helpful but didn’t work completely with sizes of wood as described. Definitely practice on scrap pieces first! Makes great pocket holes-pretty easy to use & packaging was very clean & organized. The drill tip snapped off after pretty heavy use, so I wasn’t too surprised. I have a couple of recommendations. Definitely purchase a vice clamp - tried using traditional rubber/plastic clamps & it needed two & still didn’t hold very well & was very clunky. The screws that they supply with aren’t very strong- at least not strong enough for 4x4’s I was using. Screws snapped off in pocket hole & made removing & re-screwing very challenging so I just bought stronger- longer screws. I would definitely recommend this product for price. Quality company.

Works good until friend of mine dropped the drill bit and the tip broke off real easy not sure why had been using it up to that point no issues wasn't even hot or a very high drop less than a foot and the tip snapped off of the drill bit bot replacement not sure if it was quality or just a fluke but the tool itself works well

I used to toenail boards. Since I've gotten this tool, I now pocket screw studs and tee connections. Much stronger and the boards don't split.

The kit is not bad value, the jig itself works and the markings are accurate giving pocket holes of the correct depth and no breakthrough on the attached workpiece. The screws grip well in softwood so you get strong and stable joints. The drill bit though apparently sharp does tend to rip the wood; the outcoming side of the ovals have major tearout so if on the visible side and aesthetic finishing was desired, it would be a lot of work to fill/patch/sand. Biggest problem for me was bit skipping with the provided square bit and screws. After only a dozen drives, the bit shows wear and swarf; it jumped very easily despite a lot of applied pressure. I soon needed additional screws so went with the torx system from a different manufacturer which exhibited no bit jumping at all.

Using this pocket hole jig to make cabinets and drawers for my basement workshop. I bought a wide jaw locking pliers from HarborFreight for $8 to keep it in place and it has worked really well for a fraction of the price of a Kreg system. If you are on a budget you can’t go wrong.

I am amazed, this set is qualitatively better than Kreg 320 but halve the price, I recommend this set over other brands including Kreg.
