My boyfriend is of darker complexion and this has worked for him fairly well. Not only does he use it on the back of his arms, where the KP is most concentrated, he uses this cream every night as all over body due to its hydration factors. He has been using the cream for about a year now and loves it :) So to answer the question, yes, it does work on people of darker complexion and skin color.
