LorDac Arts Detail Paint Brushes - Set of 12 Artist Miniature Paint Brushes for Art Painting with Acrylic, Watercolor, and Oil

Nice set of brushes. Using them to paint minatures. Had to trim a few fly always but I think that was from trying to put the plastic caps back on. I would like them a bit firmer but that is simply my preference as I'm not as steady handed as I used to be.

I find these brushes very responsive especially in those very delicate detail areas. One of my favorite pastimes is decorating my 3 daughters nails and boy they can get very creative on me, for instance Jesse my youngest brought me her Dr.Seuss book “ Oh,the places you’ll go! “ don’t know if you’re familiar with it but it’s a bunch of colorful concentric circles. So she wasn’t having my plea of that it’s too hard honey, so I went for it and surprisingly the brushes made it much easier than I anticipated. The responsive bristles flowed very very nicely. My daughter thinks it’s a masterpiece LOL. I also spend a lot of time making and painting my Christmas trinkets for my little shop, so Iv’e had many sets of brushes and the lack of frizz and not splitting like I get from the pricey all natural hair brushes, makes these a very good value. So far they’ve cleaned up very nicely too.

These brushes were recommended by a website but they seem cheap. I haven't used them. All of them are too similar to make it a worthwhile purchase.

I was looking for a set of small brushes with a variety of shapes and sizes and the pictures of this set seemed to fit the bill. These brushes are smaller than I initially expected, but after using them I think they are the perfect size. I paint wall murals and these have come in handy for the really fine detail work. They are also easy clean and the bristles dry in their original shape. So far they have held up well and I’m extremely pleased with them. I tend to go through brushes quickly, and as of right now, I expect to order another set of these fairly soon.

Got these for my Dad who keeps wearing out his fine line/detail brushes with all the water color paint by number he has been doing. I had bought him one 00 brush for $15 that he says was the worse brush he ever had, including those that come with the paint by number sets. He has used one of these on several pictures and it is still like new and easily holding a point. He loves it and loves having the set even if he has only needed to use one of them so far.

The brushes come with a little plastic protector for each brush to keep the bristles all neat, however, several of the brushes arrived with frayed bristles inside of that plastic protector. When I began using the brushes, after about three minutes they would fray and random bristles would stray out, making them extremely difficult to paint fine detail with.I also noticed that the bristles are fairly thin, meaning that they didn't retain paint very well. I know it means that they're supposed to be super fine and thin for those details, but the brushes didn't hold the paint well enough to really paint that fine detail. I've had other fine detail brushes that were much better than these. These felt cheap, and I don't recommend them.

I love the variety of brush styles; i.e. flats, rounds, etc. Painting realistic details is so much easier. I paint animals a lot so creating realistic hair and fur can be challenging without the correct brush. I especially enjoy painting the eyes, which require tiny, tiny strokes and layers of different colors. These brushes help with that process since I have more control in paint application. They also clean up very easily (I paint in oil).You can't go wrong by adding these brushes to your paint brush collection.

The media could not be loaded.    I am completely impressed with these brushes! I was really wanting to do some painting in my mandela coloring books and had tried some different brushes that weren't able to do the fine detail. These were perfect. They come in 12 different sizes and shapes. From 0000 to size 1. With flat, round and liner shapes. They are made of taklon materiel so they can tolerate the stronger paints with damage. Next I am going to use them for nail art. They are great for the detail painting. So fun!I highly recommend these!
