I've been crocheting for about 8 years and have definitely found my favorite go-to hooks. These Tulip ETIMO Rose hooks are one of the best hooks on the market. I've used the set I've had for close to 8 years and there is no performance decline, no problems with the metal, it still remains ultra smooth to this day. I picked up another 6 mm when I noticed it on sale from a third party seller. You can never go wrong with extra Tulip hooks. While I now have my ultimate favorite hook, it's a new set from Heart Hook Home, I will still use these Tulips, and use them for when I travel rather than bring my expensive set on the road. I would be careful who you buy these from though. They appear to be all third party sellers. My hook arrived in perfect condition-the box and the hook, and it was even packaged with other items. I've purchased from always & quality store several times in the past and always had good results with hooks from them. I recently purchased some purple tulip hooks from a different seller and each one of the boxes arrived crushed beyond belief and one of them came crushed, open, and the hook missing. Just do your research on the sellers and watch for sales. You will love this hook

this is my favorite crochet hook brand & i’m copy and pasting this on all of the reviews because every single one of these tulip etimos, whether it be the red or rose ones, are so amazing and so comfortable in your hand. the glide of them is unreal and it is just… amazing. i put them in a cool pencil case i bought and they are just awesome. i cannot recommend these enough

I just started crocheting this year, and I think I grip my hooks quite tightly, making my hands hurt from tensing up. My hands, in general, are relatively small for an adult woman. I think this is the best crochet hook I own. I started off with hooks I got from amigurumi kits, but as I started exploring other projects, I needed bigger hooks, and I wanted to invest in comfort, so I could crochet longer. This is my first Tulip hook, and I am HOOKED. While it might be a bit too long, the grip is so comfortable that I feel that I actually lessen the tension in my grip, meaning that I can feel my hooking hand be more relaxed while using it, which also helps me speed up. It grabs bulky yarn so easily, too. I work up blankets quite fast when I use this hook. While it's relatively pricier, I think it's worth the price! I've since also tried Clover Amour hooks, and I still vote for Tulip because of the comfort! I ended up hunting down the 12mm and 15mm versions after this, and hopefully, I can find the 8mm in stock one day!
