Super beau

The only issue is 2 imperfections on the flat metal surface, near the griffindor logo. I thought it was dirty but it's in the metal, like bubbles.

Purchased for a little HP fan and it ended up being much better quality than expected. It holds her most special wand!

This wand stand looks like something Professor McGonagall would keep on a shelf and silently judge people with. The die-cast metal gives it a nice solid feel, not flimsy or plasticky, and the Gryffindor crest in the middle actually has a lot more detail than I expected. The red and gold colors stand out without looking super flashy, and the lion emblem gives it that “yes, I definitely belong in Gryffindor” energy. The two lion-shaped prongs holding the wand are probably my favorite part. They make the whole display look fancy in a very wizard-y way, like your wand just finished giving an important speech to the Ministry. It measures about 8 inches long, so it fits nicely on a desk or shelf without hogging all the space. Just know the wand itself isn’t included, which felt a little like opening a cereal box and finding out the toy is imaginary. Still, once you add your own wand, it pulls the whole thing together. I also appreciated that it’s officially licensed because sometimes collectibles online can look amazing in pictures and then arrive looking like they were made during someone’s lunch break. This one actually feels well-made. The enamel details are clean, and the stand has enough weight that it doesn’t tip over every time someone walks past your shelf like a dinosaur in an action movie. I ended up setting mine next to my books and gaming stuff, and now it somehow looks like I put actual effort into decorating my room. My cousin came over, saw it, and immediately grabbed his invisible wand to pretend duel me in the hallway, so apparently it passes the “cool enough to make people act ridiculous” test. If you’re into Harry Potter stuff and already have a wand sitting around, this is a fun way to display it instead of leaving it buried in a drawer beside old chargers and mystery batteries.
