I am much more familiar with early comics as I write about that part of comics history. One of the authors recommended this to me because of a mention that pertained to me personally. I'm glad I bought the book and read it. It opened up a new understanding of how younger fans are viewing the superhero genre. It took a while for me to get all the references but that's a good thing! Terrific storytelling, beautiful art and fascinating look at superheroes.

Enjoyable as it is a strange and amazing way of taking an alternate look at the holy trinity into the doom patrol landscape.

DC's Young animals is a good jump start to the new Doom Patrol series. The book also has intros to Cave Karson and others new writers and artist give this off beat/ weird comic a great high in laughs and laughs at the whole conceptual/ divers media of it's self. Great comic too read and recommend it to everyone!! Also please more Doom Patrol!!!
