Speed to boil water is not fast, it is average. Worked fine for 5 months, then power cable melted inside the power socket and was going to cause me higher electrical problems.

Bottom switch is one of my favoriteon feature in this kettle. Far from the moist comming out of the opening preventing it to short circuit overtime.
