Very strange (but not horrible) smell, but it works well though. Safe to use around pets and is a great alternative to bleach. It didn't stain by carpet or furniture either. It's a live saver if you are dealing with something like ringworm and need to clean EVERYTHING. Definitely get at least one 1-gallon sized, jug if this is the case. You will need more than you think. I live in a smaller one-bedroom apartment, so if you live in a larger apartment or house consider getting two. DO NOT MIX WITH BLEACH!!!! IT WILL RESULT IN TOXIC A TOXIC CHEMICAL CALLED PERACITIC ACID WHICH IS HIGHLY CORROSIVE AND CAN CAUSE RESPITORY PROBLEMS!!!!

Does a great job to get rid of mold from areas that can't be easily scrubbed. I love that after it dries, it's truly gone and doesn't leave a residue or noxious smell (allow a few minutes for it to clear the air, but it's a clean smell and not particularly troublesome for my sensitive son). Have used it to clean mold from inside of an air conditioner and washer/dryer. Our tenant brought home a glass bong that he inherited which was filled with years-old resin and rat feces. He expected to need to spend a whole day cleaning it with multiple chemicals, but a simple pass of Oxivir followed by an isopropyl alcohol + salt soak (with water between steps) rendered the item immaculate within an hour. We're using it way more often than we expected because it works so well on so many things.

The educational program I work with requires that I use this product. I like it because it only has to sit on a surface for 1 minute and because it does not have a strong odor.

I got this to disinfect the litterboxes and everything else when I adopted a new young cat who had giardia and coccidia. I kept him isolated, but still used this to disinfect everything while giving him the medicines the vets gave to get rid of the parasites. This seemed to do the trick without horrible odors. It was easy to use, too. Did not cause any bleaching or staining of anything I sprayed it on (plastic, carpet, vinyl flooring, cardboard, cloth). I also used it to clean an area that got flooded during a recent hurricane, and had no problems with mold, so it seems effective against that as well.

I use for laundry and to clean environment . Being a nurse I can’t take any chances and this beats the expensive cleaners.

I use to use this stuff when I worked in a hospital. It cleans really well with no smell. Drying takes about a minute to be effective but it works. No leakage and was a decent price when I bought it. It's hypoallergenic but I would recommend you use gloves .

I loveeee this stuff. It cleans surfaces super well. you just dilute it with water and pray it from a spray bottle and it works its magic. highly recommend.

When using any cleaner always read the directions for recommended wet time for disinfection. When it come to a household cleaner the disinfecting wet time could be 4, 7 or even 10mins. Oxivir only has a 1min for basic disinfecting and it's not as harsh on surfaces and is safe on skin (of course there is always people who have different levels of allergies and you should never clean without gloves). This product is used in hospitals all over and is replacing an older cleaner that is also hydrogen peroxide based called alpha, which needs a 7-10min wet time to disinfect. I use it on all of my hard surfaces, but if you use it on kitchen counters or any food contact surface always wipe with a damp cloth to get up any residue (this product is not recommended for food contact surfaces). Works great in the bathroom and doesn't smell too bad. I've deoderised the carpet in one of my rooms with it. When you spray it on something and it bubbles a little bit you know you've got something nasty. Always follow usage instructions for any cleaner, it can shock you how your using cleaners wrong and not really doing any cleaning except dusting.
