Can this be used in making precision markings or is it more for rough cut applications?

I do not feel this is to be considered a precision instrument. There are small bulges (drips), of paint along various edges that prevent one from being able to accurately draw straight lines or check an item for “square”.

How thick is this ruler?

The Mr. Pen ruler is about 1/16" inch thick and is made of a good quality metal. The metal is hard to bend and I personally like it.

Will this work at a Tshirt vinyl ruler?

Is this ruler 1.5" wide?

The top portion is about 1.25 (the "top of the T") the longer part is 1.75" wide. Hope this helps
