Perfect for my dining room. My chandelier originally came with beige shades - the black shade add a more subdued, classy look to the chandelier and the room.

Beautiful. Years ago I had living room lamps with the gold lining inside and it created such a beautiful ambiance light and was very flattering on the people sitting in that room in the evenings. Fit our chandelier-type bulbs perfectly, though some of the wire clamps (for lack of a better word) needed to be adjusted slightly to make them sit level. Note that these are not completely opaque -- the bulb is somewhat visible through the shade. The first photo is with fixture at full bright; second is with dimmer at 50%.
