Quality is great, a little work to take down and fill and press suet into the 8 holes.
I like the feeder, I was hoping the starlings would not be able to eat from it, but they figured out a way to hang on and eat. lol Love seeing the woodpeckers come to it. A little more work then just plopping a suet block in a feeder, but suet will last longer because all birds can't cling to it.

This cedar log is very sturdy, with holes drilled perfectly, and now I sit and wait to see if it attracts the BIG woodpeckers.

This cedar log is great for all kinds of woodpeckers. From the large pileated woodpecker to the small Downey. It’s easy to fill with suet blocks that I break apart and put into the holes.

Great show to watch!
What a treat to watch Downey Woodpeckers, Flickers, Yellow finches, and more alight on this pole and go to town! Well made, easy to hang and for me, easy to fill. I wet my hands and then break off a piece of square suetcakes to fill the holes. Highly recommend!

Birds love it!
Very well made. The item is long which acts as a perfect tail prop for a pileated woodpecker. Holes are very large and take a good amount of peanut butter to fill. I would actually prefer there to be less holes in the item as a whole. Squirrels definitely do some damage and chew around the holes; but has held up well with the weather.
