Exceptional Cocoa — The Best We’ve Ever Tasted I decided to try this non-Dutch process cocoa powder after seeing it featured on a cooking program, and all I can say is wow. One sip was enough to understand why it sells out. As a hot chocolate, it’s unbelievably creamy, deeply chocolatey, and slightly bitter—in the best possible way. We’ve been consuming organic raw cacao for over 2 years, including fermented varieties and much more expensive brands from Health food stores, and this is hands down the best-tasting and highest-quality cacao we’ve ever had. We only switched because our usual brand was unavailable, and I’m honestly so glad it was—this is a major upgrade. Viva’s cacao is smooth, rich, and full-bodied, without that harsh, biting bitterness that so many others have. It’s perfectly balanced. We often drink it hot with just water and no sweetener at all—it truly doesn’t need one. Sometimes we add honey or coconut milk, and it’s equally fantastic. It’s also incredibly versatile. I use it in homemade non-dairy ice creams and gelato, where it adds a luxurious chocolate flavor without overpowering fruit. I use it in puddings, in my hot lion’s mane drink, blended with coffee for an incredible mocha, and even mixed into raw organic chocolate wafers to boost cacao content while reducing sweetness. It performs beautifully in every application. What really sets it apart is that it still tastes amazing even when diluted or used as a secondary flavor, something we’ve never experienced with other cacaos. I use it in smoothies, oatmeal, and baking, and it blends in smoothly every time. I also like that it's unsweetened, organic, and made with simple ingredients. I bought the smaller size before and it lasted for a few months, the large bag will last much longer and offers great value. I would definitely buy it again.

Great and very healthy product. It is not Cocoa it is Cacao which is unprocessed Cocoa. It is much more bitter and a very soft texture. I add it to my coffee in the morning. Highly recommended but don't confuse it with Cocao. Some canadian products will say cacao which is French for Cocoa. Don't confuse that either.

This cacao powder has a rich, deep chocolate flavor and is perfect for smoothies, baking, hot cocoa, and healthy desserts. I love that it's unsweetened and made with high-quality organic cacao. The 2-pound bag lasts a long time, making it a great value. I use it regularly and will definitely buy it again!

I have this list on my Amazon subscription, and have started my second order now. I used in mostly in coffee, but it makes good diabetic hot chocolate. I understand that this pure sugar free coco, encouraged our bodies to create an accelerated number of stem cells. Do your own research, and make your own decision. I found this after not being find a comparable product at Trader Joe's, in CA. They seem to be always sold out, on their smaller, but similar, unsweetened coco. After a year or so, I am still pleased, and plan on using this product as long as I am able. Hint: not for everyone: I sometimes use a Keurig K cup pod for a second time, by adding a bit of instant coffee, and a half bit of this coco. That adds variety, economy and to my pleasure.
