Quality is great. Can fit several things. Picture is as shown. Strong and durable. Great for horse camping or just putting on your horse for a ride.

Horses are retired but the trail equipment proved to be a great additional on a long road trip. The insulation packs worked well (ice packs were mostly still solid at end of the day). Cantal bag holds much more than one would think. The best part are the quality of straps and rings, able to attached to motorcycle luggage, fit perfectly across the top and bags easy to tie down on passenger grips. Recommend this to all riders, horses and motorcyles alike!

These bags are made tough. They are plenty large and can carry a lot of gear. The straps you need to keep your load secured are everywhere you would want/need them. My wife and I use these and can carry enough feed and gear to camp for two nights. They don't bounce around on your horse.

I used for the first time on an 8 day pack trip, First day the strap tore right out of the side saddle pack. the snaps and d rings are plastic, I would expect metal for better durability for what these packs are designed for. After 8 days of struggling with the plastic snaps of the top pack, I was very frustrated. Obvoiusly I cannot return them as they have been well used, but I would consider this if I were searcing for saddle packs. Now I will bring these to a speciality shop to be repaired after my initial investment, and only one pack trip :(.

Durable and lots of room. I have a large dog and this really is larger than his hips. Still working on the fitting.

It's difficult to open and close the side bags. It really requires two hands, and when in saddle, that's annoying. Hopefully we all have horses good enough that you CAN take your hands away from your reins, twist in your saddle, and fiddle with the zipper. I do, but it's still annoying. The cantle bag. I put my oilskin duster (heavy trenchcoat type long jacket, for the men out there who don't know what it is) in the cantle bag, and I could not keep the whole rig right-side up...it kept slipping to one side. I ended up having to do some serious anchoring to keep it mostly up. Might be user error, but the next day I just tied my duster on the back of my cantle and left the bag in camp. It's well-made. I don't have a complaint about that. And the pockets are nice & deep. But I think I'll buy some cheaper ones that are easier to deal with in saddle. Edit: about 2 years later. I don't use the cantle bag. I'm not a hardcore camper or anything like that. The bags are used every few weekends on a ride (sometimes more). Still inconvenient to get into in-saddle, but the bags are still in great shape, zippers in great shape. I bumped up from 3 to 4 stars. I can't quite give it 5 because I can't attest to whether or not the cantle bag is any good.

Great quality bags. Items in insulated bags stayed cold all day. Easy to pack. Easy to clean. Sits nicely on the saddle/horse. Pics do not include cantle bag. I used the cantle bag the next day ( very well made & roomy). !

Die Taschen sind super. Mir fehlt leider noch die richtige Befestigung für die großen Taschen. Die müssen zusätzlich gesichert werden. Ist nicht dabei. Achtung: Das Material scheut das Fell weg. Nicht direkt aufs Pferd legen.

Fabulous saddlebags, big enough to get everything in. Padded, fairly lightweight and really well made.

The bags are good, but the clips holding the top pack are unbelievably stiff and I am unable to separate the bag from the base. I have two sets and both are the same - awful.
