Not very sharp, but they work. One of them got rust stains on the dishwasher. Not dishwasher safe...

I love these knives. Ive signed up for meal service plan and knew i needed to get knives for cutting the ingredients. These are great at cutting garlic, onions, tomatoes, etc. They dont bend like cheap knives do. I wash in dishwasher all the time. I think spots are from other silverware as it seems to come off fine. I was replacing carpet in whole house and used one of these to cut into manageable sections. Sliced right through it. Dark purple handle make them easier to spot in the drawer and i always choose it first.

I didn't expect much! Have sets of steak knives that cost several times the price that don't perform as well. They are not for your "fancy" company dinners. Too light and cheap in the hand. For every day and casual meals these are the best knives in the drawer. Since they have no weight to them and were very inexpensive I don't know how long they will last. But so far very pleased with this purchase. The bright colors are fun!

I bought these as they were Ginsu I've had them 1before and loved, they were purple to match my kitchen and dishwasher safe but now noticing rust like spots on the blades. Very disappointed

Had lost knives over time and some that I bought from on line shopping broke, so I thought I'd take a chance--especially since they were PURPLE! Great cutting ability and do hope they last in the dishwasher. It is nice to have a full set again.
