I've never written a rewiew on any Amazon product I've bought before, but I wanted to write a review for this milk frother because I think it and the owner of the business are worth it. It was shipped very quickly and I didn't have to wait long before I received it. I even got an email from the owner of the company asking if I received it without any problems before I received it. The product itself is a great product. Ironically, I didn't buy it to froth milk since I'm allergic to dairy and can't drink milk. I bought it specifically to mix the bone broth powder I use every morning. In fact, I found out about this frother through reading the product reviews for that powder because people were saying that all you need to turn it into a nice froth is a good milk frother. So I looked through the selection on Amazon, and decided the Power Lix milk frother was the best one for the most affordable price. I've used it several times already and it's worked to perfection to do what I need it to do, which is turn a protein powder into a nice froth without any clumps that's easy to drink. It's so powerful that I don't even need to use boiling or very hot water, or a blender, as many people have suggested. It makes my life easier. All you have to do is put the batteries in, fill up a cup with some liquid part way, submerge the frother into it, and press the button, and it does the rest. Hold the button as long as it takes to turn the liquid and/or powder into a perfect froth. If that wasn't good enough, the customer service is also top notch. Jennifer, the owner, has sent me several personal messages through Amazon asking how I'm doing with the product and if there's anything she can do to help or answer any questions. She clearly cares about her customers and wants to make sure they have a great experience with her product. For anyone who's thinking about buying this product or any other products she offers in the future, I think that's an added incentive.

I make a chai tea latte most mornings and this has worked like a charm frothing milk to go in it. I've had it since this summer and the first set of batteries lasted for a bit over 3 months using it almost every day, certainly no less than 5 times a week. If you're not getting the same type of froth as easily as you once were, a change of batteries will perk it right back up. I think it takes a lot to kill a good set of batteries in this, I have been changing them when I notice a significant loss in speed, not because the batteries are completely dead. I was trying to nail down how my chai tea latte tasted best, along with how to keep the calories the lowest. So thru my many different combos I have used this to froth 2% milk, 1 % milk, soy milk, vanilla soy milk, unsweetened soy milk, almond milk, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, regular oat milk and low fat oat milk. All have been able to froth, it's just a matter of milk temperature and technique to get it to froth and foam. Watch a few videos on YouTube if you're not sure, it definitely helped me with technique. It varies widely on the best way, but if you aren't having success, try warming it up or frothing for a longer amount of time. And sometimes you may think you've done that and you're still not getting results, but it's honestly quite likely, you need the milk to be hot, not just warm. In my experience the plant milks froth fine at warm temps, but 1% and 2% need to be hot in order to get it to froth and foam the way you most likely want. It will look like it's doing something when it's at a warm temp, but once you finish frothing, you'll likely see flat bubbles that will disappear quickly. So adjust the milk temperature if you're not seeing the froth or foam that you want and expect to see. Also, I'm not sure if every frother has this, but the stand that comes with it is absolute perfection and is worth paying a slightly higher price to get. I hadn't considered it when choosing which one to buy and now I never want to have this without it. Such a convenient, inconspicuous storage option, just sits right on the counter and gets little attention. Highly recommend this milk frother. I wasn't sure I made a mistake when I first ordered this after seeing so many videos with people using the plug-in automated ones, but I'm thrilled I went with this first. It was completely unnecessary to spend 2 to 3 times as much for the other ones and this takes up less space and is much, much easier to clean.

I love this little thing. I last bought it in 2020 and it just fell apart yesterday. By fell apart, I mean that the repeated vibrations after near daily use for 5 years eventually meant it just vibrated off. The milk froth is very even and is quickly frothed; just know that when it starts to make noise and the froth isn't even and more like big bubbles, your frother's days are numbered. For the price, it was definetly worth it. I only didn't give it 5 stars because of my own rating scale and barely give anything 5 stars.

UPDATE: PowerLix has reached out to me and offered to correct any problems with the frother and purchase. They were very gracious about handling this, and worked very quickly to correct the issue. I am very happy to report that the replacement frother works like a charm. I will leave my original review unaltered, but as I said before, this really is a wonderful product. Very enthusiastically recommended product with top shelf customer service. Original review follows: I had purchased this forther three times, first time in January 2019. It worked wonderfully. The whisk was powerful and frothed milk and nut pods very easily. The battery compartment is really tight, skinning the cover from my batteries whenever they're put into it or removed. Not a big deal. Problem started when I had to replace it because an accident left this unable function very well. I didn't hesitate to order another since the price is reasonable and the frother is powerful. The replacement came with a bent whisk, making the device vibrate heavily and not frothing anything very well. I put in for an exchange through Amazon, and the third whisk came, and it too had the same problem; a bent whisk affecting its ability to froth, and making it vibrate and rattle in my hand. I am willing to try yet again, but unfortunately I am no longer being offered exchanges and any refund request is being offered at $0.00, which seems to me that I have paid for one, return two, and ended up with nothing. I don't know what is happening on their manufacturing end, but I hope they fix it, that first frother was really handy. I'd say my first one was a 5 star device; powerful and surprisingly good. The most recent two are duds, and getting a replacement (without paying extra on top of MSRP) hasn't worked out. I recommend that if your frother has a bent whisk that you just get a refund, and maybe try another brand to see if it works better.

***UPDATED REVIEW*** After posting the review below, Powerlix reached out to me and offered to send me a replacement mixer. I was extremely impressed they proactively reached out like that! Upon receiving the new mixer I was even more surprised to see a few improvements. The mixer itself is essentially the same, but does have a new power button and the frother no longer has any extra play in it like my original one. The biggest difference is the stand. It has a new shape, is a little taller, sturdier and has nice little rubber end caps for added support. It didn’t seem like much at first but it makes a big difference! You can see in the photos the difference, new mixer on the left and old mixer on the right, same for the stand. The “arms” hold the mixer much better and I like it much better. Just as my previous review stated, it’s still my favorite mixer/frother by far! It’s design, shape, ergonomics and weight strike a perfect balance that none of the others have had. Pair that with the excellent support and this mixer is definitely worth 5 stars and one that can’t be beat! ***OLD REVIEW*** I will start with the good: 1. It’s powerful! Much better than many other frothers I have bought in the past. It’s strong enough to use for mixing many drinks and not just frothing. 2. Ergonomics, looks, stand, and cleaning are great. Love the button on top, the feel to use it and never an issue quickly cleaning it. By far my favorite frother. The bad. 1. Doesn’t last long. I bought this about 6 months ago and just like any other frother I’ve bought they have a very limited life span. I took apart the motor on this frother and you can see in the photo the brushes for the motor are very worn. One is essentially gone. I decided instead to spend 9.99 buying the same DC motors (10 of them for 9.99) and accept that these are not built to last. I like the look and design of this one so much which is why I decided to just replace the motor instead of buy a whole new frother. If they can improve the durability of the motor, I’d give this 5 stars and recommend over any other frother.

Won't foam even using heavy whipping cream. I had to split into two cups. Because it slung coffee everywhere . Even this low amount in cup sends little droplets of coffee everywhere but still no froth after trying for a long time. Had to reduce video to send, but this is after a couple of minutes. Pictures is finished product being stirred with a spoon to show you the supposed foam. Try for yourself if you like maybe I got a defective one, which the seller says isn't possible. Just know if it doesn't work go ahead and return to Amazon. Dealing with the seller/company is frustrating. Tried to deal with seller and just kept getting the run around so returning to Amazon and will try something else. I don't often write reviews but wanted to share my experience because I bought this on positive reviews. UPDATE: I am not changing my review because this was my experience. However, after I returned this to Amazon and left my review I was contacted with the information I needed in our first communication. Here it is: I am so sorry that your order did not go as anticipated. Even though it's late may be this will help you in the future. Here's the step to create a good thick froth: 1. Heat the milk to scalding first. No matter your method, heating the milk makes for the best results. Place the milk in a saucepan and heat it to scalding or 150 degrees Fahrenheit (measure using a food thermometer). This is hot to the touch, but not simmering. 2. Place the milk in a tall container. Hold the container at an angle and turn on the frother like in the 3. Move the frother up and down until foamy bubbles form, about 20 seconds or so. Tap the container on the counter to break down any large bubbles. Important: For a latte, don’t go too far: you want the milk to mix in with the coffee so you don’t need too much froth. (For a cappuccino or macchiato you’ll want lots of foam!) For a latte, let the foam rest for 30 seconds to 1 minute to get the foam to incorporate into the milk and separate slightly. This may help someone else but I have no way to know how this new information would have changed things. Because I had returned it to Amazon. My suggestion to the company was to add these directions to the box. Mine came with no directions.

We have been using the PowerLix for exactly 16 days. Four and half stars and the Amazon Choice label originally induced us to buy. We used it exclusively for milk frothing in our, one each, daily cup of coffee. From day one, we were pleased with the product. The frothing ability was better than other foam makers we have used and it was an attractive item with a solid feel. Today without warning, it quit. Actually it never even started. I checked the batteries - all good. I cleaned the terminals just in case - nada. I double-checked that nothing was impeding the rod - zero. There was no hum, no hesitant spinning, just nothing. Amazon is replacing the frother free of charge but unless there is a significant improvement I would not recommend this product. UPDATE: After my review above, the PowerLix people immediately contacted us and replaced our faulty item. After a full two and a half months of usage our PowrrLix is doing everything we expect. Our first one was obviously a lemon and that can happen with any product. We were immensely pleased with the quick response by the PowerLix people - a clear indication of pride in a product and willingness to stand behind what they sell. Based on the company’s actions and the performance of our replacement frother I withdraw the negative review and now give PowerLix five stars!

It works and works well - i really do love having it around to just whip our whenever I’ve got something small to whip. Even use it to make an egg wash when baking. Great for mixing kids hot drinks

Ik heb al aardig wat van deze opschuimers versleten,er was altijd wel een probleem. Deze juist niet hij is lekker simpel met 1 laag garde.hij is zeer krachtig waarmee ik een heerlijke melkschuim laag kan kloppen
