Gender Reveal Smoke Cannon - Powder Cannon to Reveal the Baby's Gender In a Colourful Puff 2 Pink & 2 Blue

Luckily we tested the cannons by using the color we didn’t need for our gender reveal the day before. Both cannons tested exploded backwards. No we weren’t holding them upside down and we did EXACTLY what the instructions on this page said to do (instructions do not come with the product). We ended up going to a party supply store to buy different cannons because honestly I didn’t trust that these would work for our reveal and I wasn’t willing to take the chance of them exploding in our hands again. The ones we got at the party store had instructions to puncture a hole at the top of the cannon before twisting the bottom. Maybe that would have helped for these as well. Either way it was disappointing but another lesson learned to shop local.

Both our cannons didn't work according to plan and ruined our vision of a perfect reveal. As you can see from our photo, half of each cannon came apart. One went straight up like a rocket (this was somewhat okay) while the other one exploded in hand with the bottom half coming off, resulting in a bunch of powder falling to the ground (and shoes).We held the cannons in the right position (arrows pointing up) and twisted the bottom to the left with our right hand. Both cannons just came apart after twisting it. A better build quality should keep each cannon intact after twisting it.I wish the product also came with instructions but even if it did we followed the directions we read online in these reviews and it still malfunctioned. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because at least the one that rocketed up looked like it worked even though it wasn't supposed to do that. I wish we did the exploding ball baseball reveal instead.

This product is not safe to use. I had seen a couple reviews of malfunction but thought, “it’s only a couple out of a thousand, what are the chances?”I’m 20 weeks pregnant and we watched the directions... both cannons malfunctioned and the pressurized piece punched me right into the stomach. I would say this product is a HUGE LIABILITY and super unsafe. I am going to the doctor today, but what if it harmed my baby in utero?If you are going to make a product related to pregnancy or kids, you better make sure it’s safe and reliable, and there are clear, concise directions. Incredibly disappointed and honestly scared for whoever may attempt to use the product next.

This is horrible. My cousin wanted to be surprised with the baby gender. She asked me to get the stuff for it if they gave me the envelope that had the genders in it from the doctor. Of course I agreed! So I bought these because it's what she wanted. On the day of the reveal we read the instructions on the tube. Hold it with your left hand so the top is facing away from you and pointed in the air. With your right hand turn the bottom in the direction of the arrows. They did that and the exploded in their face right as the part you twist. If you want something that's going to blow up in your face and throw powder in your eyes then these are what you want. I think it's terrible and I will never suggest these to anyone.. Wish I could give it zero stars

Well, the cannons we used were the blue ones and when I went to twist my cannon, when it popped open, there was medal by where you twist, and it poked out and hurt my thumb nail. It was painful and it took away from the experience. I didn’t appreciate the fact that the other cannons did not pop off the way they were supposed to.I must say, the color blue intensity of the cannon was great. A little warning, don’t let your kids participate in launching a cannon. Adults should only do it. I can’t imagine what would have happened to my kids thumb had it been him with my cannon.
