This ribbon was exactly what I was looking for but when I cut the length of the piece that I needed it started to come undone and had beads all over the place. I recommend buying this item only if you intend to use the complete length without cutting it.

Added this to a plain black dress and it looks good. A lot it the beads fall off when you cut it but it worked. I think it added to the dress.

Honestly, I can't rate this little trim more highly!! I was worried after reading the reviews that it might be a bad buy, but as it was such a reasonable price I thought I might as well give it a try - no biggie if it isn't what I was looking for at that price! Wow, 100% worth the shot! I was super impressed!! It looks beautiful, it's small and dainty which is just what I was looking for for my wedding dress. The quality is great! Yes if you cut the trim without securing the loose beads, they will fall off, but that's easily fixed with some thread! I gave it to the seamstress at the wedding shop to add to my dresses spaghetti straps, and to add a belt. There was enough on one roll for both of these parts (I'm a uk size 10). Today I went back to try on the dress now that she's added those bits to it. It really does add everything I wanted to the dress. It is perfect! It's not too much, but enough to be seen and to make an impact. I am inlove with it and so pleased I went with this purchase!
