I was looking for some tape or adhesive to stick a carpet on the wall. Tried buying several carpet tapes but all of them used to fall off after few hours of sticking. Finally tried using this velcro and selected it just because of the claim that it can hold loads of 4.5kg per strip. And the claim found to be true 👍. Suggestions: Better to stick the soft strip of velcro on the carpet and the rough strip on the wall or hard surface. This will help in easy detaching the carpet when required. Also I applied the velcro tapes to the respective surfaces of carpet and wall and kept it to cure separately for almost a day before sticking the carpet on the wall. This helped the adhesives on velcro tapes to stick to the respective surfaces forming a strong bond. Else there is a possibility of the velcro tape to peel off from the carpets surface.

The joint between the two tapes is very strong but the glue to attach the tape to object is terrible..

This stuck well to brick, was weather proof, and easily removed. It was perfect and I would absolutely buy and use it again. I used these to adhere a Halloween decoration to the outside of a building (witch that hit the wall) and it lasted over a month and came right off without leaving residue. truly happy with this product.

Great Velcro so far! My optical port door flap and spring broke on my LG OLED55C6 TV so the optical cable wouldn't stay in if the TV moved. I called a repair shop, and they said they'd have to take it in and see what needed to be done with possibly replacing the whole logic board. The port still worked fine, just needed to get the cable to always stay in. I then tried taping it up with packing tape, and mounting 2 sided tape which both failed. I asked on a forum if they had any suggestions on what else to try and one suggested Velcro! Why didn't I think of it (haha)? I then went onto Amazon to look for Velcro to buy and found this. I wanted something strong and thick enough to fill the spacing between the port and TV. I get it the next day (love Prime for that), and try it out. Worked great! Obviously only used it for this one task, but so far when I've moved the TV around (switching some HDMI cables) it's stayed in every time. Super happy with that. Glad I found this Velcro, well worth the price.

Excellent product which really works.

I use this Velcro in my RV to secure things down that I don't want to have to constantly put away every time I move. It works great!!! I even installed cameras on my RV and used this Velcro to solidly hold the cameras on so I didn't have to drill into my rig! I first thought that if I used Velcro the camera would wiggle around when the wind blew, but I was totally wrong! I even travel with the cameras attached and they never even budge!!!

Very easy to cut and apply. It seems quite strong, and able to hold quite a variety of outdoor items in place. Be aware that the adhesion tends to be lacking on rough surfaces, like cement. I tried to attach plastic stair lights to my cement steps, and that was not possible. They stuck to the painted stairs just fine.
