I am getting a lot of glare from the led lights on the objects I'm photographing. Is there a trick to softening the light?

Tape tracing paper or a sheer fabric over the LEDs (drape it in a U shape so its like a tunnel over the light, not right up on it) to soften and disperse the light.

Will a jewelry necklace bust fit?

No. But if you put the pieces on it the pictures look great! I took some jewelry pictures with different background colors and it looks amazing
