What we love: Cleaning and filling: The top is removable for easy cleaning and filling (this feature was what made me decide not to choose an airpot made by a name brand that’s well known in the restaurant industry—their airpot does not have the removable top feature and I knew that having that top attached while I was trying to clean it, fill it, or turning it over to air dry would be precarious and annoying). This GiNT airpot really delivers in this feature. Stays hot: I put hot water in the airpot in the morning and let it sit covered for a few minutes while I make a pot of coffee. When the coffee is ready, I dump out the hot water in the airpot and fill it with the hot coffee. Our coffee stays hot into the evening. Swivel base: I didn’t think that the swivel base would be anything that I would use, but I have been surprised how handy it is to be able to swivel the airpot rather than having to slide or lift it to make small positioning adjustments. Independence: If you, or someone you care about has difficulty pouring beverages from a pot or pitcher due to arthritis, a tremor, weakness, or vision impairment, dispensing beverages from an airpot can provide some regained independence for those who struggle with that task. No mess: There are no drips when we have finished pumping our coffee into our cups. We would definitely buy this airpot again, and highly recommend it!

I don't drink coffee, so this review is for those who are wondering if carafes are only for coffee. So carafes are basically a big metal container to keep liquids at their temperatures for as long as possible. Usually they are double-walled since metal conducts temperature very quickly, so a double wall helps to contain the heat or cold within. This particular carafe can contain 75 ounces, so it's a good size. If you drink about 12 ounces each time (equivalent to about a soda can ), you can drink do it just over six times. It also has a pump so you don't have to tilt this big and heavy container to disperse the liquid (it weighs almost four and a half pounds). I have also tried this on iced tea, hot water, and even hot cocoa. Everything works great - the temperature remained the same hot or cold after two hours. Cold temperature remains longer - for me, the cold temperatures lasted 12 hours with the carafe at half ice cubes. If you filled the carafe to the brim with ice cubes, it will last longer. As for the hot tea, and was still warm as hot tea should be after 6 hours. However, that was with me dispensing and drinking the hot tea throughout the day. If you did a temperature test and left it at full capacity, the claim is 12 hours. The quality of this carafe is good, and hence the higher price (cafares start from $20-50), made of stainless steel for the metal, and high-quality matte plastic. The pump action feels sturdy, and the look and quality make this carafe a good value. I wouldn't say all carafes at $20 are low-quality, but stainless steel is not cheap, so be careful what you pay for. I feel this is a fair price for this carafe, based on its excellent value for its size, features, and quality.

I have tried several different catafe brands and this one truly stands up to the claim of keeps beverages hot. I haven't tried the cold option yet but I'm sure it's the same. The construction is very high quality and cleaning is a breeze, using a long handled brush for the interior and a small brush for the spout. It keeps mh coffee hot for hours. I am very happy with this product and will buy again. I will also consider buying these as gifts for family and friends.

We used this to take hot water for tea to an all day outdoor event on December 6th. We filled it with nearly boiling water at 7 am. At 3 pm water it supplied was still very hot, and steam escaped with the hot water when water was dispensed into the insulated cups we supplied. We were impressed and very satisfied with its performance.

I thought for the price it would have a glass thermos inside; it doesn’t. The pump is very intricate, it’s not a run of the mill type pump. It has something inside of it that won’t allow you to just run water through it. When I run hot water through it to rinse it out the water just sprays all over the place. You have to pretty much have to just run your water at a slow stream and even then it will not sometimes fill right away. It keeps the coffee hot enough for me. I don’t drink coffee all day, I have my 2 cups and I’m done.

I ran a coffee clutch once a month at the 55 and older apartment complex. I live in great Social hour and a great product.

I have used my Gint daily since I purchased the item four months ago. I love the ease, convience, and the swivel stand. I keep it with me throughout the day....hot coffee an easy 2-3 finger press away!!! The Gint is easy to clean with a removable top, easy to carry with a strong handle, an easy to access coffee with a strong air pump. The interior is Stainless Steel with exception of the top enclosure and the top of the air pump. Even though the plastic material is BPA free, my preference would be to have Stainless Steel or Titanium in all areas that coffee contacts. I do pour the coffee carefully into the Gint and wipe away any coffee that lands on the BPA free plastic top...that is my own idiosyncratic behavior!!!

The pump works well and the handle drops down easily when not in use. Hence the pump handle doesn't get in the way of the cabinet door over it. I fill mine with Tea. The tea stays hot for several hours or more. Then it is warm the next day. This is a great product. It is a solid professional use product.

It works great. We tested it out and let it hold boiled water for over 24 hours. It worked! Stayed very hot and we are pleased with it. You have to keep pressing the pump for more than about 8 oz of water/coffee so if you have a very big coffee cup - you can't just depress the pump and let it run - you have to pump it a couple of times. But it works great and is easy to use.

After decades of using my vintage airpot from Europe, it finally cracked. The GiNT is fine - if I fill it completely it holds the heat quite well, although not hot enough to make tea later in the day. I assume it is because it’s all metal, and not glass inside. The pump works great, being able to take off the top to clean it, is a bonus. Overall I’m happy with it.
