Monastic and Religious Orders Paperback – Illustrated, 12 Jan. 2008

I have just finished a module on the Cistercian Order in England and Wales which is taught by Dr Janet Burton. This book is great, its easy to read with all the relevant information in it. Janet's style of writing is exactly how she tells the info in a lecture with great little stories included. If you need a good book for Monastic and Religious orders in Britain during the early medieval period this is the one, I have read many books on this subject but this book excells in being easy to read.
