Im recently married and this is the first Sindoor product I have tried. I wanted something that would be easy to apply, not be messy, have a rich dark colour and be liquid. This product looked to cover all those things. It’s very long lasting, once dry you have to rub it to get it to smudge. I love how deep the colour is and how neat it applies with the applicator. I only have 2 issues The first is the price. If Id bought it in india it would have only cost 199 rupees (which is just under £2) on amazon it costs more then double the price at £5+ Second is to do with the colour. It may be because I am white and people don’t expect to see a sindoor on me, but this is such deep shade of red that I am getting asked multiple times a day if i am ok because they think Im bleeding. I don’t mind so much as I see it as a sign of kindness but it is getting a bit much. I’ve switched to traditional powder to avoid that until i find another alternative.
