VERY CUTE
These diary's are so cute. I purchased a pink and a purple for my twin nieces. They loved them and immediately started writing in them. They are well made and come with a lock and pen, with a heart decoration. Perfect for tween and teen girls.

The book itself is ok quality. The lock is the cheapest junk imaginable- broke immediately. For a locking diary, the combination style is probably a better bet. I had to console a 7 YO child on Christmas Day because of this poor quality product.

Cheaply made
My daughter really wanted this as her first diary. She liked the color online. Ordered it, it's super thin cheap paper & the flap doesn't want to even stay in the little "buckle." It was a Bday present. Hurt to know she was disappointed in the gift. Doesn't want it. The gold edges might be the downfall, perhaps they should skip the external gaudiness & use a thicker paper. She likes the heart pen, so that's the only perk. Would be cool if you had a pen holder for it. Ya get what you pay for.
