935 - Flat Peak Newel Cap - for Use with 3 1/2 Inch Newel Posts (Red Oak)

I needed to update my existing stairway railing on a budget, so I decided to paint them white, remove the carpet and add new tops to the existing newel post...WOW!!! I love the new look. The toppers were easy to install (by my Contractor), but I'm sure you can do it yourself if you're handy.

Just exactly what we needed for our DIY stair newel post update. Excellent quality for the price, all five were consistent, no sanding needed. We just primed and painted. Much better style and quality than we could fine locally. They fit our 3 1/2” posts perfectly once we sawed off the old ball finials. We bought one to be sure they fit on our posts because we did not have much height to work with around the handrail, and then bought 4 more.

This works great! My contractor built the stair rail but not the top, this was a perfect fit, looks amazing

Does not fit onto 930 31/2 “ newel post as advertised.
