I cannot fault this razor I have 16 Razors in my collection .If I had to narrow it down to just three this razor would be in there , a long with my Muhle R41 and Edwin Jagger D89 .Great shave every time , I have used a variety of blades from feather , asstra ,derby, persona voskhod to name a few and soaps like Mitchells ,Tabac, Proraso ,cella etc .No matter what combination the results are the same. So happy with my purchase .Have spent more money on my two Merkurs but they are not as good as this . I did hear a rumour Muhle make this razor I wouldn't be surprised they look identical . I would say not too aggressive a shave but not mild either. Great buy for a great razor don't hesitate just buy you won't regret it neither will your face.

I have many safety razors but thought I’d try this one from Baxter’s, WOW! This razor is far less aggressive as say the Muhle or Murker withs it’s semi open comb. I used a super max blade which is my blade of choice using Taylor’s of Bond Street shave cream + badger brush for application. A Comfortable Nick free shave with zero razor burn. I followed up with Harry’s aftershave aloe cream. Amazing!! If I had to own one razor, this would be it.

Fantastic build, design and weight! Made in Germany so you know it’s quality! Not one of these low quality Chinese made razors that rust or jam or fall apart after a week.Highly recommended!

Bought as a present for a female who has never used a safety razor before and have gotten amazing feedback.It was beautifully packaged and has an easy mechanism to swap the blades. Highly recommended as it would be near impossible to cut yourself, as long as you're using shaving soap (Which you always should!).

arrived on time. beautifully boxed. the razor it self is very nice , got a great shave from it with no nicks or cuts. i must have purchased it on a special offer for around £16, now i see its around £37. even at £37 its a great razor
