Very superior matt finish tape. Extremely sticky and easy to write on. It tears quite well in both directions but occasionally it is not a clean tear. Sticks well to flat smooth metal and plastic surfaces but not cardboard – that’s why there is packing tape.Fairly expensive, it would be nice to be offered a quantity discount too.

As a regular user in the UK, I recently tried out the WELSTIK Thin Gaff Tape 25MM*30.2M Gaffa Tape Matt Cloth Tape in White. I primarily used this tape for various tasks around the house, including securing cables and temporarily fixing small household items. What I really liked about this tape was its thinness, which made it easy to tear and handle. It provided a strong adhesion without leaving any residue behind, which was great. Moreover, the matte finish of the cloth tape gave it a clean and professional look. However, one downside I noticed was that the tape tended to curl at the edges, making it a bit tricky to peel off the roll smoothly at times. Overall, though, considering its reliability and versatility, I found the WELSTIK Thin Gaff Tape to be a valuable addition to my DIY toolkit, offering an affordable and effective solution for everyday tasks.

Does what I need it to do, sticks well and has a vibrant colour that makes it stand out. No problems.

The purpose this tape is suppose to fullfil escapes me, it is not very sticky at all. Anyone I've taped up with it has become undone in minutes. The tape is quite literally useless in my opinion. I would advise you to purchase Gorilla tape. There is no escaping it, you do get what you pay for when it comes to purchasing tape.

This has a very mild adhesion and I would not class as 'gaffer tape' as it will not stick to most surfaces very well ( in my case plastic) yes the material is strong but let down by the below average adhesive.Consider carefully your application before buying this product

I was looking for a matte finish tape for mounting Diamond Paintings in frames.This cloth tape is truly matte so the diamonds really sparkle nicely against it and I am super pleased with how it has worked for my first project.The tape is tightly woven and has a good adhesion. Even better as I needed to get a crips edge against the border of my image it is easy to pull it up and lay it back down when you first apply it. This allowed me to get a fairly professional looking finish.It was easy to trim the overlap off and I didn't need to cut it, it was like cutting a length of paper, get a snip in and the just push your open scissors along it and you get a nice smooth edge.Plenty of tape on the roll and I am going to be able to complete multiple framing projects using this tape.

It's exactly what you want from gaff tape. Cables, plates, wrists, you name it. It says put until you want it not to.

The only thing you need to know about this tape is that it has very low adhesion. I like that for when I need to remove it, but it's not ideal for long term labels. Otherwise, it's decent tape.

Gaffer's doesn't stick to its own unglued side, and removes from stuff with no mess. Duct sticks to itself, and can leave a mess on some things if you remove it later. I keep both around for different uses.

This is not gaffers tape! It left a thick, sticky, white glue residue behind on the floor when I removed it that I had to scrape off with a razor. Heating it just smeared it around.

I used this to tape up focus rings and cover shutter dial on my still camera when shooting studio work. It sticks well and doesn't seem to leave any residue and therefore it does what's expected. Does that earn 5 stars? I guess so.
