The Horse of the River: A Camp Canyon Falls Adventure

Bought this for my Granddaughter who is 10 and lives horses. She really enjoyed the book.

The cover drew me in to this book, and the story prompted me to write this review! It is mostly a story about navigating friendships, but the girl and the bond she forms with her horse draw you in as well. The dramatic climax is manageable for younger readers. The length is shorter which makes it a great choice for third graders reading up and fourth graders looking for a quicker read. Recommend!
