How thick is this brush, is it good for mimicking single brow hairs?

It's thin enough and angled enough to make fine lines. Mimicking single hairs depends on your dexterity.

How flat are the bristles? I keep getting brushes where they don't stay together or are too thick to make a fine line.

Our eyeliner brush is angled and the bristles are very flat, so you can quickly draw a fine line.

I need a firm brush for eyebrows. Reviewers say this is soft. Do not want splaying of bristles so can you advise?

I think it is soft, but firm. When I use it for my eyeliner I just dip it in a little water and it stays firm. I have even used it dry and not had any splaying of bristles. It’s the best brush I have ever used for my eyeliner.
