1/3 cup aloe vera gel
Mixing bowl

An empty container (you can use an old sanitizer container or a container from a traveling kit)

I have made hand sanitizer last week..  2/3 cup 99% isopropol Alcohol, 1/3 cup Alvoe vera gel (any brand)  and some drops of tea tree essential oil.  It comes out very watery (like for a spray bottle) .  I added more aloe vera and it is just right.  It also has been helping with my exzema on my knuckles (who knew!)  NoW it it also hard to find alcohol .  AND ALSO TOILET PAPER.

Thank you for your question. Phenoxyethanol is one of the mildest preservatives in all skincare products and is used in almost all organic skin and hair care products today for being so gentle. If you use it in direct contact with skin or ingest it, it can be an irritant to the body as research shows.  However, we use less than 1% in our ingredient list to prevent bacteria and mold from growing in our product. If we did not use any preservatives our product would grow contaminants causing lots of harm to the human body. Used in this little percentage there have proven to have no negative effects on skin or the human body.

Why does the description claim it's 100% pure aloe vera gel, when the ingredient list is long?  it should on say gel from aloe vera leaf.

The advertisement lists "100% pure Aloe Leaf Gel", meaning it was sourced only from the leaves of the Aloe plant (for the Aloe ingredient), instead of the Entire aloe barbadensis plant. Hope this helps!
