SoundstreamAR1.2500D Arachnid Series 2500W Class D Monoblock Amplifier

I ran this amp for 2 months with 0 problems! In fact it ran awesome... and then a few days ago it went in to protect and 5 minutes later started smoking! It’s toast .... so I’m hoping it was a fluke defect , and I hope the replacement restores my faith in Soundstream! I had it running a 10 “ tarantula.For those saying it’s a poor design because of the ports ! Take the silver end caps off !!! Lol 🤦🏻‍♂️ . It’s 2 screws !

The winner for the most poorly designed connection port for an amp goes to sound stream. I bought this months ago to use as a back up amp for when an amp goes bad in one of my party buses. I just had the opportunity to hook It up for the first time today. It’s been on a shelf in my garage since August so Don’t make the same mistake I made because I can’t return this poorly designed piece Of crap. Anytime you see a product that is this poorly designed don’t expect it to work for long. I have no idea if this amp even works because it was so poorly designed it’s nearly impossible to hook up. Don’t waste your money or time. Look elsewhere and make sure they made the connection ports accessible by human hands with normal tools. If you can’t access it with a straight screw driver You don’t need it!

Love this amp and you will to been running Soundstream a lot of years this amp is real power I was skeptical at first cause low price dont even have to turn the gain up its efficiency is real.. You won't be sorry.

I installed this yesterday on a 15 inch kicker. Would not believe the amount of sound this thing puts out. I was in the car for six hours today pumping hard and I am did not get hot at all or miss a beat. Will update with any issues

Its a great amp sounds clear bass hits hard i have it connected to to a 2 ohm kicker comp r 12 loaded dual sub box and it almost like having spl quality bass everything in my car is shacking
