316L Stainless Steel Wool Pads - MEDIUM Grade 1 - Made in USA!

This was exactly what I needed! I added a heat muff for cabin heat in a small airplane. The airflow was too rapid through the muff, and the result was the air did not get hot enough to raise the cabin temp more than a degree or two, and it also made the cabin a "wind tunnel". I needed to pack some stainless steel wool in the heat muff, to gain greater heating surface area, and also to slow the flow of the air through the muff. Could not use something with zinc, copper, etc., as they could give off fumes that might be deadly, so was looking for 100% Stainless Steel for the wool. Also, did not want excessively fine texture. This item worked perfectly!! There was an odor during the first test flight, as the SS wool heated, but that quickly dissipated, and there has been no further odor detected. I only needed 2 of the pads to get the desired rate of airflow and surface area for heating. While this might not be what some are looking for, when searching for SS wool, I think my use, and my good results show the quality of the product. I can recommend it without hesitation.
